Sanford Fire Department in the 1950s and 60s - Part 1

8 жыл бұрынThis is the first of four reels of 8mm film found in Sanford, Maine that contain images of training exercises and emergency incidents that took place in the York County, Maine area in the 1950s and 1960s. The department had them scanned and transferred to digital thanks to the folks at Gamma Ray Digital, Inc. in Boston, MA.

As an apparatus buff 74 yrs ...so happy u put video up for us,many/most of rural FD rigs were just like these ...here in Minnesota always a joy to visit small,rural FD,amazing dedication w/hand -me-down apparatus👍👍🔥

Wow look at the city that i live in now back then. So much has changed. At least the mills arent burned yet.

The fire at he corner of Mechanic St an Washington St I was in the fire dept then an at the station when the call came in remember it very well
