It is so adorable that Flor loves Benito so much and is so angry at her sisters that she thinks they are the competition. (Love also how having a plausible reason for Jaime, Jasleiny, Ezekiel and Michi - so far - not to be there subtly lets each actor play the roles that are crucial to the episode.) Love when the family comes together like it's coming together right as I put this comment, Abuela sticking up for her daughters.

@@hopegold883 - the whole joke of him explaining it is that there was an episode where he finally explained, but we got only little Snippets as it cut from one person to another, so everybody in the room had trouble understanding it though they heard the whole thing and everybody among the audience only heard bits and pieces and had no idea what he had said. This is the first time we get a version we and they can understand.

I love how Laritza was openly admitting she didn't realize Kevin really was her cousin. And in our fmaily, the O'Donovan clan, all exes are still considered family too and always invited...even if someone remarried the ex is still family....like the Mafia, lol...once you're one of us, you're always one of us. My aunt is still confused as to why my mom rejected all the invitations after the divorce and my dad's remarriage.

What I love even more, is how many more times I'm gonna get to watch this and laugh, at all of my extended family's different Sangiving parties!!!!!!

As someone who's related to a big family like this only by marriage, I love the Kevin reveal! I kept my married name after the divorce, and with my ex having literally at least 100 first cousins not to mention however many second and third, I'm constantly getting Facebook friend requests from total strangers who assume that because I'm connected to all their family and have the same last name I must be some family member they don't recognize. 😅

Also, I’m glad Armando was cast as a guy who was more beefy and macho-looking in comparison to Benito and Rolando, because I kinda had the You Betcha guy in my head as Armando, and the guy cast to play him looks close. I even had this mental image in my head of Armando getting Benito and Rolando each in a headlock as a way of sort of palling around in a jockish sort of way and all the women in the family are just cringing or eye rolling at the sight of it. 🤣

We originally wanted Mario Ramill to play Armando last year, but since he’s all the way in Florida it would’ve meant we couldn’t use the character as often. This year we originally cast Eddie, the actor playing Marcos, as Armando, but we ended up writing Maruchi’s new boy friend and he was better suited. Mike was great as Armando cause he had the physicality we wanted, and could play macho but also a little embarrassed and insecure too.

I was wondering if a "Sangiving" video would come up this year. You guys nailed it! 🤣 I have no idea how do you keep up with all those wonderful characters you have created. I would be so confused... not to mention I would be laughing all day if I were on the set. Abuela's speech really got me, specially when she used the word "soportar". The "translation" for "support", which in English means to help financially. I loved it. "Dos mujeres, un camino", "Café", Flanigan's cups, Urkel/Stephan, Cuban apps, "My skies"... there are so many details to comment about, I would never end. 😂 I would like to know how long primo Kevin's table was. 🤔😝 This was absolutely hilarious! Nicely done! 👏👏

Ideas for future skits: Armando and Rolando palling around with Benito. Rolando trying to get out of debt/bankruptcy. Gloria, Jasleiney, Jaime, and Rolando together in one fashion or another because it seriously needs to be a thing. And a video where Abuela, Maruchi, Gloria, Flor, Migdalia, and Carucha do a sort of rehash of those early holiday skits with possibly Mirta, Fidelia, and Lorena included.

That was an adlib of the actor. He also added the Matt Damon joke, which is my favorite in the video. Make sure to follow him on Instagram! (And the table, I wanted to show that time was passing, so we figured showing him making the table bigger every time somebody showed up could help. Also, my friend who’s house we filmed at has that table, so we figured we’d use it.)

I appreciate how Maruchi shut her ex up when he scoffed at Gloria talking about her gay son and his strong relationship. Maruchi (and now Gloria) are LGBTQ+ allies, and Maruchi interrupting her ex was a subtle way of saying that. Thank you, Jenny! I’m obsessed with your channel! Ok but why is with this thing of parents to separate when their children are in their 20s? especialmente latino parents?🤣 No kidding, they always say because of the children, but my friends like Laritza would have preferred that they split up much sooner because it was pura gritadera, lanzadera de platos, e insultos bien feos pasivo agresivos todo el rato. Oh and WOW! QUE ESCÁNDALO!😱 Even so is so sweet that abuela defend her daughters cuz usually we just shut up to evitar pelea, porque son invitados, no importa si son unos hijos de @#$&#.
