Bro! I call my mom and my cousins that sometimes. My uncle will say "Yo bro, what's your malfunction?" to my abuela. It cracks me up when they're pestering each other because she'll just nod and walk with her head held high and quietly call him a pendejo. It reminds me of how my mother and I talk to each other XD
