The way you express yourself has me enthralled-even when I don’t find myself particularly interested in your sponsorship segments, I still don’t skip them (it doesn’t occur to me). Hearing your thoughts-from a simple complaint about the camera being dead, to pointing out pretty things, to expressing opinions about mental health-is very calming to me. And, somehow, I see myself in your way of life, or what you display of it. It’s comforting. Thank you ;)

Of course you'll be a great grandma, no doubt. You can paint, you can tell joyful stories, you have been travelling, you like to explore, you can be damn entertaining. You're chaotic, authentic and hilarious at the same time. Kids and grandchildren will love you, if you're willing to have them.

At the end when you talked about that cycle of wanting to get up but not being able to, which then leads to a worse feeling for still being in bed/spending most of your day delaying…that’s more common than you think, you’re definitely not alone in that. When I was pretty depressed, I did that for a long time. I tried everything to break that cycle, but the thing that worked for me was moving to a place where I now have a bunch of animals to take care of. Our saying is “horses never take a day off”, and it’s true. It gets me out of bed every morning before the sun rises, and I’m happy about it lol. As an artist, I have learned that too much freedom can be crippling, it’s good to find balance with something physically demanding and routine (and if possible, outside in the fresh air). It will help your creative expression immensely because it brings order to the inner chaos. Keep focusing on mental health, it’s so important!

I have a theory why she said you would be a great grandma. "Good" grandmothers have the ability to make the best of any given situation. They have lived a long life and endured a lot of pain but also had a lot of time to leran to appriciate the small things in life. They pull you up when you feel sad but are also able to give excellent advice for difficult situations in life. They always know what words and storys to choose to lift you up, to comfort you or to give you advice for painful situations. You are able to deliver similar storys. You do not have the experience they have yet but you are not afraid to share your thoughts in an almost guiding way. In yout videos you always show both sides of your feelings, the bright and the dark ones. But i have a feeling, without knowing you at all, that you are able to find the right words and storys to comfort or encurage the ones next to you. And with more knowledge and experience youll gather, youll be able to give your grandchildren awesome advice. I might be completly wrong but thats something that came to my mind. Anyway, great video as always 👍

I’m so happy/jealous for you while watching this. You have such an amazing opportunity to discover yourself as a young person. Like where you are in life (financially, emotionally, and just as a human) is just set up perfectly for you to experience your world and your own body and mind. At least from an outside perspective it seems that way. It’s where I wish I was so that I had the time I needed to discover myself. I am very happy for you, you seem happy 😌

You really inspire me to punch my lil anxious adhd brain in the face and realize that not everything is going to be amazing and work out well but that there is always a silver lining. Hey, don't worry about only talking about mental health! It's a good thing to talk about it, it can break down that stigma around it. Plus, I like hearing your thoughts as they come to you! It's legitimately like hearing a friend talk (even if I don't know you). My husband's family is in NYC, I love it there but being in Central Park is one of my favorites. I always visit the Balto statue outside of Tisch Zoo/CP Zoo whenever I go, it's my peaceful spot to just sit and people watch.

dude the Anja sad pensive music idk what it is but it gets me fullass tearing up, chills all down my legs and stuff. I feel like I'm reliving Spring 2020, all the feeling the panic the horror and the sadness at everything being cut short. I think this music was in her leaving Germany video, which made me tear up at the time for the memories that weren't mine. To have that contrasted with now where she's come so so so far, it's so beautiful. It's wild that one human sharing videos of them walking through the woods and finding moments of peace thousands of miles away can have such an effect. My god she's gonna make a rad grandma

I relate so much to your words describing "growing fuming ickiness inside of my heart" after waking up at the morning. Only little steps are helping, the more I procrastinate - the more it's growing, turning into pannicking. Me don't like that feeling. I better get up, drink some tea and look at the sky - it always brings peace to my heart. That's a good start of the day for me :3

Anja! Another lovely * m'wha * vlog, thank you! On the subject of intrusive, anxious thoughts and that shame spiraling... you are not alone girl, I might recommend looking into some reading/studies on how creativity relates to OCD, ADHD, Bipolar, etc. Definitely not trying to diagnose you or judge your experience via youtube. I think you are a fabulous, kindred spirit and still figuring out adulthood like us all! Sometimes it just helps knowing there's some real background for why we might get into these inexplicable ruts and swings.
