Something to consider regarding free will vs determinism: Allah is Independent and Infinite. Allah is not omni present but Allah is all knowing. Allah is also time independent. Through these it is very much possible that Allah as an infinite being can allow us to have infinite possibilities in a limited universe (where determinism comes to play such as movement of stars and planetary bodies etc). Allah knows all our possible choices, since Allah is infinite and has all information. Allah also knows our singular path in this time vector oriented Universe. Our choices are whatever we observe in each quanta second, which ensures that there is only one straight path. However, the future for us is with infinite choices within the allowed universe. Since Allah is independent of time, Allah knows the past, present and future already. Hence, we can change our assumed fate through worship. Allah as time independent does not need determinism. He is All knowing and All giving. It is a brilliant divine setup if you think about it, since this means we have free will but are limited within the laws of the Universe, all created by Allah.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu Brother hijab, brother Hamza about determination and freewill what do you think of this. Because Allah knows what would happen and what an individual would do out of his own freewill if Allah creates him so then Allah in his knowledge of what the person would do out of his own freewill Decrees that very action the person would freely choose. This doesn't undermines divine decree and at the sametime also doesn't undermines freewill as Allah knows the action I'm going to choose so He SWT Decrees for that action to happen and Allah knows best.

Very good debate in KZfaq. I'm a French Muslim You have to remember that since Aug 2018, there is no more age of consent (Schiappa law). It is the judge who will determine the consent between the parties. This is why, the senate (one chamber of parlement) has introduced and voted a law that the age of consent is 13. Why 13? What scientific basis? Social basis? We don't know. Before the age for decades was 16 years. You can use this argument in your debate when it comes to subjective morals values. French ex is a good ex to explain the inconsistency of morals values. Halal poultry forbidden bud kosher is allowed. Another inconsistency Freedom but hijab forbidden, equality but Islamophobia, fraternity but still racism with Africans and Muslims

Guys. What lots of people (even pastors) don't (yet) understand. For the fall of man a perfect atoning sacrifice had to be made.... that is what God did in Christ. He paid the debt for the fall of man for us to be indwelled by His Spirit again and finally receive the divine life of the ages back, the first Adam let got of in the fall of man. That is what you see happening in Christ's first disciples. They too healed all. And yes.... that is still avaible today. The holy blood is in place, the Holy Spirit is here to give us understanding and transform us back to origin. Not to be debated about, but to be embraced and be-come. So: The Kingdom of God already came. Through Christ, in Spiritform, in those that understand. Hence the divine healing miracles we experience. God manifested in Christ to give us back the divine life mankind lost in the fall of Adam. Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after in Gen 1. The image we lost in the fall of man. The image that can be freely restored by Christ's blood and Holy Spirit working IN us. What a plan. What a solution. What a love. What a God. Jesus is amazing. It is the ultimate conclusion of the word and plan of God. God came full circle. He Himself stooped down from glory to restore us back to original created value: Christlikeness. Walking in divine healing power and unselfish love. Jesus, born of the Spirit of God, filled with the spirit of God. The "Son" of God, the incarnated word, God in the flesh. For three years He healed all, raised the dead, casted out demons, controlled nature, spoke pure divine truth. He said: "Follow Me. If you see Me, you see the Father. The Father and I are one. The glory I have IN My Father, I give to you. It pleases the Father to give you His Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature. I will send Holy Spirit, the same as Me, He will be IN you, guide you into truth and give you explosive power. The same miracles i do, you will do too, because you will understand that the Father is IN Me and I am IN you. Freely I give you My Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature, heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, freely I give, freely share" Etc, etc, etc. I have experienced thousands of beautifull healing miracles through the power of Holy Spirit IN me already. Broken bones, cancers, covid, all kinds of infirmities healed in seconds. Demons manifesting and casted out by a simple "get out, in Jesus name". Jesus. De name above all names. In Him all power and wisdom is sourced and.... He calls us one with Him. God in man and man in God again. C'mon Jesus!! So.... again: God stooped down IN Christ to restore us back to Gen 1:27 were He said: "Let us make man according to our image and likeness and let them have authority.....": walk as Christ. Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after and being restored to by His atoning blood for the fall of man and indwelling Holy Spirit. You are free to receive this original divine life of the ages by Holy Spirit of Christ/God. Ask Him to guide you into truth. Read the Gospel of John and fall in love with your creator. You are not made for the fall of man and its effects, but for the image/glory of God and to walk like Christ. Holy Spirit is the guide and transforming power that will get you there. Amazing grace. A big leap in faith can be made when we start realizing we are already IN Christ, IN the last Adam. Free from the fall! Loved! Growing into awareness of our new (yet old) godly identity. Changing by Holy Spirit. The most fullfilled life ever. Paul healed all on Malta. He understood and wrote: "As in the first Adam ALL died (lost the divine nature), so also ALL were made alive IN Christ to walk in Zoë (= divine life) again". "IN Christ (the last Adam) we are co-cruisified (dead to the fall and its effects), co-raised (justified/made righteousness, holy, blameless, above reproach), co-seated (one with Him)" "The fullness of deity dwells in Christ and YOU HAVE BEEN MADE COMPLETE IN HIM, who is the head of every principality and power". So.... thank you Jesus! Thank you for redeeming me from the fall of man. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that makes this new (yet old) divine life come alive in me. You are amazing! In the shadow of Peter the sick healed... He understood too and wrote: "By Gods power (Holy Spirit) and knowing Christ, we have become partakers of the divine nature and have escaped the fall of man". The divine life of the ages has been returned to us by Jesus once and for all perfect atoning sacrifice for the debt of the fall of man and His indwelling Holy Spirit in us. Jesus/God is amazing!!! Ask Him to give you revelation and change you to the way it was before the fall of man: Christlikeness. He will do so. For it is written: "the Spirit brings forth after His own kind". "I have come to give you Zoë (divine life) in abundance...."

Wa Alaikum Assalam. Jazak Allah khair for your advice :) I see where you're coming from and sometimes, a person's question results into a 20-25min conversation. But I disagree that it should be just limited to 2min, because a lot of times (not all), I feel these long conversations bring a lot of value, and allow a more detailed, nuanced answer tackled from different parts. So it's like a double edged sword (time taken vs knowledge gained), but I believe we should always let longer answers prevail so everyone can have their questions answered to a fully detailed and satisfying extent. I don't think having livestream to be a quick-shot-firing Q&A session would be helpful for too many people. As for your advice on letting more non-muslims to question, completely agreed with ✌️

Daily Reminder: Try to supplicate these duas every single day habitually 1. Dua That Guarantees You Forgiveness (Sahih Al-Bukhari) Prophet Muhammad SAW (PBUH) said: "Whoever gets up at night and says: La ilaha 'illa Allaahu, wahdahu la shareeka lahul mulku, wa lahul hamdu, wa huwa ala kulli shayin qadeer. Subhana allaahi, wal hamdu lillaahi, wa la illaaha ila Allaah, wa Allaahu akbar, waLa hawla wa la quwwata illa billaah. There is none worthy of worship in truth except Allah Alone, He has no partners, He has the Dominion and for Him is all praise, and He is capable of all things, praise is for Him, and Far is Allah from imperfection, and There is none worthy of worship in truth except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, there is no capability nor is there any power except with Allah. "Then he says: Allaahumma aghfirlee. O Allah forgive me! Or he supplicates and his supplication is answered, and if he makes Wudhu and prays, then his prayer is accepted. 2. Dua That Guarantees You Jannah (Sahih Al-Jami, An-Nasa'i, Ibn Hibban) Prophet Muhammad SAW (PBUH) said: "Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi, verse 255 from chapter number 2, Surat Al Baqarah after every obligatory prayer, then nothing is stopping him or her from entering Jannah, except one thing: Death." 3. Dua That Wipe Away Sins (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Muslim, At-Tirmidhi) Prophet Muhammad SAW (PBUH) said: "Whoever says: Subhana allaahi, wa bihamdih How far from imperfections Allah is, and I praise Him. "a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea." 4. Phrases That Are Heavier On The Scales Than An Entire Morning Of Recitation (Sahih Muslim) Prophet Muhammad SAW (PBUH) said: "I recited four words three times after I had left you. If these are to be weighed against all you have recited since morning, these will be heavier." These are: Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, 'adada khalqihi, wa rida nafsihi, wa zinatah 'arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi. Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the weight of His Throne and equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise). 5. Dua To Stay On The Right Path (Sahih Muslim) Ya musarrifa-l quloobi sarrif qalbi ala ta’atik. O, Allah! The One Who turns the hearts, turn my heart towards Your obedience. 6. Dua To Be Save From Totrments Of Grave Allahumma inni wa a'udhu bika min adhabil qabri O, Allah! Saves us from the torments of the grave. 7. La hawla wa la quwaata illa billah There is no power and no strength except with Allah. 10. Dua To Literally Boost Your Energy Before you sleep recite: Subhana allaah 33x, Alhamdulilah 33x, Allahu akbar 34x 11. Dua That Protects You From All Evil, Magic And Affliction (Sahih Ibn Majah, Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi) Bismillaahil-lathee laa yadhurru ma'as-mihi shay'un fil-'ardhi wa laa fis-samaa'i wa Huwas-Samee'ul-'Aleem. In the Name of Allah, Who with His Name nothing can cause harm in the earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. 12. Dua To Get Prophet Muhammad SAW (PBUH) Help in Yawm Al Qiyamah (Sahih Al-Bukhari) Prophet Muhammad SAW (PBUH) said: "Whoever says the following, after hearing the call of adhan, the call of prayer I will intercede for them yawm al qiyamah." For the first question, there are no ambiguous/allegorical verses in The Quran, this is absolute nonsense. The Quran is فصلت explained in detail.

@Parker Lack of knowledge doesn't mean ambiguous. The meaning is known to those educated on the matter. Learn original semetic Arabic and you'll have the answer to your question of ا ل م Question, how can something be CLEAR/مبين, EXPLAINED IN DETAIL/فصلت and ambiguous at the same time?

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel previously, as a guide for people, and ˹also˺ revealed the Standard ˹to distinguish between right and wrong (Quran 3: 3-4) Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O People of the Book! You have nothing to stand on unless you observe the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord.” And your Lord’s revelation to you ˹O Prophet˺ will only cause many of them to increase in wickedness and disbelief.(Quran 5: 68) After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. Revelations 7: 9-12 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! Jhon 1: 35,36 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Jhon 14: 6,7 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16: 15,16 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Mathew 11: 28

Br. Hijab your son is having issues counting? Have Trinitarians got to him bro? All jokes aside may Allah SWT one-day make him a great mathematician amongst other things.

He doesn't have to be a mathematician. Lacking in one area he will make up in other areas in abundance. Besides, mathematics is pretty much useless in today's world anyway unless you want to pursue a career that requires you to be good in that subject. So hopefully he isn't too hard on him, (as it appeared) and nurtures his sons talent when he recognises it

@@Wenutz Oh shut it. Mufti Abu Layth has deviated from the Deen or rather should I say that he never understood it truly in the first place. I personally don't even consider him a Muslim anymore let alone a salafi. And what is it that you find Mufti Abu Layth right in? He's openly spreading his uninformed, misinterpreted and deviant heresies. He's like a mini Dajjal who is spreading misinformation in the guise of a Mufti. 1:08:46 Brother Hamza says that it's not totalIy Impossible from a physical point of view for humans to live 200years. But doesn't this go against the hadith? "The span of my Ummah is from sixty years to seventy years and very few surpass this” Imams Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah (rahimahumallah) have recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu). Imam Tirmidhi has declared the Hadith sound (hasan) and Imam Ibn Hibban has authenticated the Hadith. @Siraj Haq it's interesting that as a Muslim, these theories take precedence of hadiths. You would rather question a Hadith then place question marks over the validity of these modern claims. Is it any wonder why so young Muslims are losing faith and becoming apostates.?

The flood of Nuh was not a localised event. It was a global flood. Almost every culture on this entire earth has a story about a global flood. Cultures totally isolated from one another who could not have been influenced by one another speak about a global flood. Even the Indian tribes in the Americas have the story of the great flood way before any chirsitians migrated. All over the world we see the story of the flood, from cultures much older than Judaism and Christianity, it's not something unique to the abrahamic faiths. To say it was a localised event makes the whole narrative of him building an arc pointless, and bringing a pair of animals etc. Saying oh maybe it was to prove a point. Lool, no, if anything that would make him look dumb, why not migrate. You could cover hundreds of miles a week on foot, yet alone a horse. They could have easily months before the flood reached another continent by the time flood came. To say the only purpose of the arc was to make it look like Nuh was right bro lool. If he migrated the same point would have been proven.
@Ersilay2 жыл бұрын
That's not exactly what they're saying. The main idea is that unlike the bible, the Quran doesn't specify whether the flood was global or not. So we can think either happened without damaging our iman, this is not an issue.
@thretman53022 жыл бұрын
@@Ersilay this is stretching things way too far. If it was a local event why on earth build an ark? The idea oh to prove nuh a.s was right is absolutely absurd. That would just make him look dumb, why build the arc when he could have just left a week or two before the flood, in fact depending on how local even a day or two before. The same point would have been proven that he knew the flood was coming, in fact the same point would have been proven in a more effective way since he took the appropriate measures. Not inefficient measures that were way beyond what was necessary. This is all on top of almost every single region on earth having some form of a flood story, cultures totally isolated from one another speak about a great flood. The evidence is it was a global flood. Global also doesn't have to mean every single square inch of the earth was under water but rather that generally speaking most of the earth would have been greatly affected. This flood story also is of no issue as many geologists point out the evidence of a greater flood reaching even to the Americas. Look up Randall Carlson he gives great scientific evidence. Most likely the flood was as a result of the younger dryas impact.
@Ersilay2 жыл бұрын
@@thretman5302 You're trying to interpret the text to give the meaning, the brothers are merely exposing the 2 possibilities the text gives. You're already going a step further, which is analysing what is the most probable answer. It's correct, but highely hypothetic unless we can be sure when Nuh(a.s.) was alive, when the event took place and have archeological evidences to prove it. Otherwise this remains speculative, with evidences and logic on both sides.
@thretman53022 жыл бұрын
@@Ersilay no it doesn't because saying him building an ark makes it possible for it only be a localised flood is absolutely absurd. It means the order for the ark was completely unnecessary and inefficient. This completely rules out the possibility of a local event unless you want to say something even more unbelievable that we have no idea why the order for building the ark was given. Well now you just jumped from one thing you find hard to believe (even though there's great evidence to prove it) to another thing even harder to believe. Also you're ignoring all the other evidence, the Bible also confirms a global flood unless we have direct evidence to contradict the Bible, there is the possibility it is correct and ALMOST EVERY SINGLE CULTURE ON EARTH speaks about a great flood!!! The flood story is not just unique to Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Please go view the works of Randall Carlson. His recent appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast is very accessible for a lay audience.
@Ersilay2 жыл бұрын
Now you see, the problem with the evidence you give is: who's to say this is Noah's flood and not just another flood? This is likely, and not even likely but certain that the earth encountered a few of such episodes in history, probably not witnessed by humans but they occured nonetheless. Since we, as muslims at the very least, don't know when Nuh(a.s.) lived, we can't know when this took place. You simply have no idea whether or not this is the latest flood, or the previous one, or the one before it. Stop speculating on matters that are of the unseen and focus on more important research topics, on the same topic: The arch of Nuh(a.s.) is described in the Quran as having arrived on top of a mountain, mount Judi. Now we have a few mount Judi, but no extensive researches have been done there. The names could also have changed since so much time has passed, but there's not a single letter in the Quran that has no importance. Allah telling us this matter of the Unseen is to give us a proof, but we have to look for it. This is a much more reasonable, quranicly supported testimony that once discovered would bring to Islam thousands, if not millions of people! This is more interesting and worthy undertaking compared to the size of the flood in question.
