Another acrylic pouring inspirational video! This is a massive commission painting that I absolutely loved making! I'm using almost all golden sword acrylics and GAC 800. The white mixture has a bit of deco art white satin enamel. I think the overall luck is quite dramatic and modern, I would love to know what you all think!

I'm a stay at home mama/ professional and experimental artist. I do commission and gallery work out of my small mountain community, Sandpoint Idaho.

*GAC magic is about 1 to 6 golden fluid acrylic titanium white to GAC 800, Then about one part decoart satin enamel.

I’m so inspired from your work. I’ve finished cabinetry and custom furniture all my life. There’s endless ways to use stains and use acrylics on wood grain on top of and around the virgin wood next to the acrylics. I’ve done mural’s on rustic and clear cherry, alder, African woods. I admit, It’s difficult to use acrylics and cover the beautiful grains of some woods. So I use the acrylics as stains to enhance the woods. White finished kitchen cabinetry allows for more choices when doing murals with acrylics. All of my work gets top coated with post catalyst polyurethane and solvent based conversion varnishes when complete. It’s hard laborious work so I’ve had to retire early due to back surgery. I’d love to see you do a mural on rustic cherry. Again white painted finished on cabinetry and custom furnitures allows for more options with acrylics and then top coated even with resin. I’d love to see your work intertwined with a popular wood grain. Oak and mahogany and some deep grain woods are challenging when it comes to acrylics. Thank you Sara. You’re a true artist.

@@SaraTaylor Hi Sara, looking forward to your next painting. I watch them all. My most recent work with the pearl mix - Bear 7300 satin enamel, gac 800, floetrol and several Decoart matalic colors was beautiful however very little pearls happened. I think it wasn’t thinned out enough. Only the metallic Decoart base coat had 7300 satin enamel. The puddle colors all metallic too, did not have 7300 satin enamel. Hopefully the metallic Decoart are not preventing pearls from happening. Again I think it wasn’t thinned w water enough. So I’m going to try again with a thinner consistency. Hope metallics aren’t the problem w pearls not activating. Would an appreciate a response. Your work is awesome. Thanks

I started experimenting with pouring acrylics about a month ago and you are my favorite to watch. I am obsessed with these techniques. Halfway thru this video the painting looked like a western mountain/river/snow scene (lateral view). Thank you for all your video instructions!

When I first started painting I started with lower cost paints, but now have learned the value of a better quality paint. I now will wait a month or two to buy a better quality paint if I'm in need of some special colors. This one soars Sara!
