From time to time I test new piano libraries, now I tried the "Addictive Keys" by XLN Audio which is in my opinion a very good Steinway sample especially for pop arrangements and pop piano accompaniment.

Hi, how did you achieve this sound? I have addictive keys. My laptop is directly connected to a sound mixer but the sound is not so good. Is my set up correct? I would appreciate any reply form you.

Does the full version have 88 keys? I read something about it only having four octaves but I'm guessing that's just for the demo.

hey man I have a question. I now have the Addictive keys demo and a usb cable to connect my piano to my laptop. I want the Addictive keys sound to come out of my piano's speakers. Do I need something else then? I heard something about DAW host programs..?? Do I need a program like that to get the sound out of the piano's speakers? BEAUTIFUL playing and sound btw!!

I have been enjoy your music very much. Thanks for sharing wonderful pieces. I also have an Additive Keys library but could not produce the beautiful sound effects heard in your channel even try to following the setting described here. Not sure it is too much to ask, can you somehow post your Addictive Keys setting file? Thanks a million.

Xinghua Lu Thanks a lot. No problem, here it is: take "Studio Grand - As Recorded", then: Mics: Body + Amb + Mid Tube , all 0 db and reverb about -11db FX2: about 1db (Hall, predelay 3.5 ms, decay 80% (maybe a bit less)

DirkArnez I just used a combination of 3 mic perspectives: Body+Amb+Mid Tube. Of all combinations this sounds the best. The reverb is just the internal "hall".
