That flight looked first class. The take off with all the lights, I'm guessing early in the morning, to the connecting flight where we see a few of the islands. Now it's back to the renovation! take care.

Azores Airlines IS business class - from A to Z - even without buying business class!! The staff is professional in a way I haven't seen on any other airline. Thumbs up for a super airline 🤗 Thanks a lot for sharing...

Thanks for another informative video! So far we've only flown once with Azores Airlines but it was great service both ways. Thanks for sharing about Pico and Azorean life through your videos, we're looking forward to being there in person in a few months. Definitely will be considering upgrading our seats since we want to take advantage of extra luggage and no change/cancellation fees.

Hi guys. Enjoy your time there. From Oakland to Terceira is at least a 91/2 hour flight. And it never leaves on time. As for SATA it’s the only direct to the Azores. 7 years ago we tried doing a connecting flight from SFO to Boston and had an 8 hour layover in Boston. Our flight from Oakland to Terceira then Sao Miguel, then Flores round trip was $2400. It makes it hard to go home to Flores for that much $$$$. Thankfully we have our family home, I was born in.

Thank you so much for sharing, appreciate it. Wow, that is expensive. We are very fortunate flying from Toronto, 5 hours and regular seats when we travelled were about 800 Canadian dollars. Take good care Carlos.

It takes us about 10 hours from Oakland to Terceira.

Place I love to visit is island of Madeira. Terceria Island Pico island and Faial island I've been. I love to finish visiting the rest of the Acores islands. Also Brazil. That is a bit hi for us. I have seen it around $1400 in low season. I seen a first class seat on Air Canada flight to Vancouver the other day for $2900, lol. We don't mind sitting in the regular seats, quite comfortable and spacious. Take care!

Have a great trip back!! Lolol Now Azores airlines is NOT a good airline from our experiences and reviews. We flew with them twice once to San Miguel a couple years ago and in October to Pico. Of course you will get better service in business class!!! Lolol We booked extra leg room for two exit seats there and back. But didn't' get those seats at all. Also that attendant that helped you guys didn't' help at all with our problem and ignored our questions. Anyways enjoy the island

@@danielfoster4667 Wow! Looks like you had the opposite experience. Sorry for that! I guess we have been lucky in the last 5 years, all we had was a major delay once. One area for improvement that I would suggest would be in the problem solving service area. Appreciate you taking the time to comment. Take care!

Just remembered to mention another thing, we have only flown business class twice, the rest has been regulars eats. The new planes A321neoLR make a big difference in comfort. Cheers!
