Very interesting topic and cool to have things discussed broadly like this. As far as all of the talk about wanting mobile broadband.... satellite is probably not the way to upload HD video. As opposed to SSH, you can check out a low-color "reasonable" resolution Remote Desktop session as they run around 2KB/s and allow accessing a computer with a real broadband connection.

Would it be possible to do a segment on satellite theory? Satellite comms is an interesting topic.

I love the idea, but the usage costs are much too high at this point. I'm ok with the large upfront cost of hardware, but I could never afford to actually use one.
