walken is the perfect character for this... almost dead inside when he performs such an emotional "service"
@thomast77482 жыл бұрын
He didn’t want to change his hair style for this role apparently. It don’t fit the character. Also a slightly faster and more precise movement style would have worked better, he is a bit too nerdy here. He should have looked more efficient and elegant to increase the quality of the service. For this price you expect a first class service. I prefer Christopher Walken in general but a guy like Christian Bale would have been a better choice. He is naturally dead inside and he is sharper. I love this sketch, it’s really well written. Usually SNL produce bad stuff but this one is hilarious.

@@thomast7748 Nah, Bale is just one of those shitty overrated method actors. The problem with a guy like him is, he acts funny, but he's not funny. He tries too hard and too often comes short. Walken is just pure charisma combined with perfect timing and sense of humor. Whatever he does is gold. He doesn't neeed to act funny, he IS funny. He's way beyond acting, on a different planet from the likes of Bale and other method mediocrity.

@@karl6657 I like Walken and I don't like Bale in general but for this role he would have been better, that was only my point. I agree that Bale is overrated and I wasn't comparing their talents.

Nobody can dump your broad as well as Christopher Walken. The man just does it classy, and without all the drama, it's just better for everybody involved.

Not such an unrealistic thing. When French composer Erik Satie decided not to see his girlfriend, the painter Suzanne Valadon anymore, he posted a gendarme at the doorway to his apartment to tell her she was not to approach him and that the relationship was over..

Digging her ginormous hairdo, a platoon of soldiers could get lost in there for weeks. So, this is kind of a long shot but anyone know if there's a longer version of the track at the end, 6:06 onwards? If not, maybe you could point me in the direction of similar songs? For the curious, the sketch is called "The Dumper", Season 15: Episode 11 aired on Jan 20, 1990.

The striking difference with the current episodes of SNL is the actors memorized their lines and do not have to read teleprompter. Now they don't care.
