Yay...validation for sitting in my Far infrared as it warms up. I wake up, sit there for 40-45 minutes & then into a cold shower; energizing and ready for the day.

I enjoy my traditional Finnish sauna, the hot rocks and making loyle I find therapeutic, also the heat is a great exercise mimetic. I have tried IR saunas they to me are lacking.

Everybody is a doctor In this day and age, it seems like everybody is a doctor on KZfaq. The journey through medical school typically involves a rigorous and demanding course load, but it often lacks a strong focus on research. Instead, students primarily learn through reading and studying. However, conducting meaningful research in the medical field requires proper funding and expert supervision to delve deep into specific medical topics. Without proper research credentials, a doctor's statement holds little advantage over the statements of a well-read scholar.

@mikes4142 good to know. I honestly have not watched his video. My bad. Lately every corner I look there is a doctor. Most of them present their opinion without backing up with research. I was dying from cholesterol. Statin gives me sky high Ck reading. Non statin dont work. Either die from a stroke or kidney collapse. I discovered Apo-B as a cleaner indicator. My doctor didnt know what that was, as it turned out, my Apo-B was fine. I didnt have to be put thru 20 years of muscle deterioration, ache and pain. Then i discovered Niacin Flush is just as good, if not better than statin. Doctor agreed but could not explain why I was never given Niacin. Because it is a damn vitamin and cost $3.99 a bottle over the counter. Back to so-called "Doctor" - Most of them work full time at the clinic, do rounds at the hospital at night and weekends. Who has time to make KZfaq video? Ahhhhhh, KZfaq pays $2-$8/1000 views. Some KOL gets over a million views a day. That is 7 digit where a GP only makes lil over $200,000 a year. Look up Dr Berg. He says, "let me tell you ...." with no proof to back it up. He took many people down the wrong path. He doesn't know the difference between dietary and serum cholesterol. Unless they are MD-PhD, they haven't done much research work. Thanx for the valuable input.

Dr Gundry FAKE I initially presented my doubts about doctors, but after receiving assurances from different viewers that Dr. Gundry was legitimate, I decided to watch some of his videos. However, my opinion quickly changed, and I felt embarrassed for having mistakenly guilted the wrong person. NOW I AM ANGRY. One video, in particular, on Glutathione made me angry. It became evident to me that this man was a fake. He hides behind the title of a “Doctor” and I believe it's essential for vulnerable people seeking medical information to be aware of this. In the show, Dr. Gundry introduced Dr. Steve Morris as a renowned researcher and authority on the super antioxidant Glutathione. Dr. Morris explained his findings and the obstacles he encountered, which seemed promising for my goal of "living long, dying fast." I considered it a critical milestone in my journey for better health. At the end of the show, they promoted the website GSH+.com to follow Dr. Morris's work. Expecting to find reliable information, I decided to check it out before writing an apology note. However, to my dismay, I discovered that the website was "for profit" and merely trying to promote "unheard of" supplements. It seemed that the chemist behind the site would say anything to make their product sound good, much like a Dodge salesman praising his trucks. I spent five hours on this, fact-checking and making notes, and it took me three hours to finish watching the video. Upon further research, I found that Dr. Gundry's credentials were nothing extraordinary. While he had a BSc from Yale, his medical school and research efforts were not particularly remarkable. Instead, he had a history of controversies, and much of his focus seemed to be "for profit" rather than advancing the medical community to new heights. In conclusion, I cannot see any evidence of an ethical research scientist in Dr. Gundry, and I believe it's crucial for people to be cautious and aware of misleading information

Still look to prices coming down, ha ha . If you have minimal skills, red light therapy units can be made for a few dollars. Portable sauna units need not be so expensive either. Wooden and larger saunas are beautiful and esthetically appealing, though costs put them out of reach for most. The majority, that needs these, see these as beneficial , know they're totally out of reach due to costs. Maybe one day?

Many more years of research in the Scandinavian countries. Guess this companies 20 years of research is good for their reputation. America rarely shows research beyond what's found in other countries. My $400.00 unit does make me sweat. If the red light goes one day, an inexpensive unit for face or body may be added.

Watched the video .....I see the health benefits of Infrared ... was hoping she would talk about a concern of mine ....which is with 4-5 heaters in the sauna ....what are the EMF levels , is time a factor and sounds like there is Wi-Fi in Some ! Bottom line ! ! EMF Exposure ? ? Anyone ? ?

Sunlighten is one of the very few brands that gets third party tested for EMF's in their heaters, and it always comes out very low. Same with the wood they use which is very low in pesticides.

I have been watching many of Dr Gundry videos and have been searching to find something about best foods for eyesight or how to improve videos. Is there any video on this subject. If not, could Dr. Gundry cover this? I cannot find anywhere his option on apricot seed oil (used in one of the blue zones) or conjugated linoleic acid (that I see in one collagen supplement). Could he comment on these please? In another collagen supplement I see ceramides (wheat lipid extract) added, I saw in one videos that ceramides are really bad so I assume this supplement would be bad?

What is the effect of infrared radiation on skin? I'm especially curious about this after i learned that in a toaster, the browning effect on the surface of bread is mainly by infrared radiation.

Okay, let’s not forget she is selling a product here. Infrared saunas do not have the data to support her claims, whereas dry saunas do. For example when Dr. Gundry asks if you get the same benefit of running by sitting in infrared sauna, she says yes and her support for this claim is “I can tell that my system is being activated”. As far as I know there are no published papers to support her claim. I am sure infrared saunas have amazing benefits, but the benefits of dry sauna are tested and proven.

Correct. There is NO research to back up her claims. That doesn’t mean that Sauna isn’t healthy, it is. EMF Infrared sauna? No data. Totally unknown.

this must have been your worst interview ever. I lasted until about 40 minutes in before I had to stop it. this is like an opinionated ad for her brand. No hard facts or studies at all, just a big ad for her brand of sauna. She seems marketing oriented rather than science oriented

Hmm, seems like you took a bit of a hit on your reputation for this video, Dr. Gundry. That can happen when branching out into other areas of treatment not technically verifiable by medical science. Instead, why don't you do an interview with dentist Dr. Ellie Phillips (who has a channel on KZfaq) about teeth health and the benefits of using Xylitol? Her research is verifiable. One video in particular you should look at is on How to Diagnose a toothache and how essential oils are guaranteed to kill your tooth.
