Күн бұрынPut the scopes on the new savages today. 28 nosler with 4-16 Burris eliminator and the 6.5 creedmore with the 3-12.
I shot one at 50 and a few at 100.
Typed in drop and bc from the online app into the scope.
I shot em once at a 10” plate at 500 yards. Both shot a little low.
I upped the drop number a hair and was gonna put em up for the day.
But decided to take one shot at 750 yards to see where I’m at.
28 nosler hit near dead center.
Will shoot again at 100 then 750 to be sure on drop number.
Then like 400 to adjust the ballistic coefficient if necessary.
Was gonna make a good video but these first two shots were cool.

If you would get behind the gun instead of off to the side, you won't get scoped. Get your body in line with the gun. Natural Point of Aim

Funny how new shooters only think that there is only one cartridge chambered in 6.5mm.

Have you seen any issues with the stock since it does not have the AccuStock rail system

Its really scratched up now, from dragging around the mountains. Functional it seems fine. I always want it to be as little and light as possible.

i have one and couldnt get mine to group better than 1 to 2 inch group at 100 . changed out the stock with a mdt added a muzzle brake . fixed savages horrible trigger with too much dangerous overtravel and now i shoot a 1 inch group at 500 yards . ill tell you that gun was my biggest challenge to date out of all my firearms . thought i was losing my touch lol . the stock was the biggest problem with accuracy . i like most of savages plastic stocks but this one was real junk !!
