A little advice? Instead of using the course vertical wheel for the fine adjustments set it to the center of the target and lock it down then use the rear base adjustment screw to make all your fine adjustment. You will need to set the fine adjustment so that you have full range of the target. Also a fore end stop will help as well ensuring the rifle returns to the same place each time. And lastly ensure both bags are settled to help with consistency. Those Ransom rests are excellent. Love your channel Marine!

Good Job Eli. You would not believe that I've loaded up 4 different rifles in the truck and went to where I shoot 4 different times and was never able to shoot. I'm low on shooting footage too for my channel. Hopefully this weekend, but it is supposed to be thunderstorms. It is times like these that I wish I could shoot in my back yard.

I feel your frustration brother. I think that Mark ll just doesn't like that RWS.

Before shooting a benchrest match I alwys shoot between 10 & 15 rounds to warm the barrel. Then, on my first taget, I fire an additional 5 sighter rounds before going to my first bull. However, I've tried RWS Rifle Match in several rifles and there were simply too many fliers in all of them. IOW, I've never had good luck with it. Just my experience.

Question on the rifle classes. Shouldn't any rifle with a corncob on it be in open or unlimited class. That is the way it is any place I shoot and on any planet I have visited! Certainly doesn't qualify as VINTAGE !

That’s why I got rid of my Savage B22 and got a CZ id get a nice group then the next group could be 1” plus at 50 throwing wild flyers I’m not sure what’s going on with it. It’s sad cause I love savage rifles.

I have a Savage MkII and ammo has to be dialed in. You are deffinitely out shooting that ammo/gun combination.
