I love that he’s like DAMN IT! But doesn’t try to run away. He knows that whatever you’re doing, you’re good to him and he’s STILL looking to you for food. Haha

I grew up in wildlife rescue, then continued rescuing as an adult as well. 😂 I'd take Simba over any of the crazy green iguanas I've had to do the same things to. 😬 I actually find it harder to do the smaller animals because they're so much more fragile, so you can't necessarily hold them too tightly, so they wiggle loose more easily.

I've used it with my savannahs and she puts up a real fight..you have an easy time with Simba..my girl fights..even the vets get a fight out if her when it comes to her mouth. She clamps down soon hard and will not open her mouth ..period sometimes. He is so sweet and tolerant with you feeding him.

thank you so much for the updates. I learn how to deal w a sick reptile. When you are able, could you add the mix to about 1/4 of a scrambled egg? I don't think there's any fiber in eggs. I know that it's going okay w the syringe, but still....

My bearded dragon hates the syringe when I deworm her and bites the tip of the plastic super hard. I’m afraid it might destroy her teeth?

animal one guy have not been able to find the original video where you can tell us what's wrong With this monitor. can you do a recap and tell us what was wrong with his intestinal something or other but was it bloating was it compaction impaction what was the original problem that took you in to the vet and what did they discover and why did they need to do surgery? So if you could please recap what has happened so far from when you first started not looking good well?.

When Simba gets stronger and his vindication is more effective and has healed him a bit is it possible to put the some dubious in with this mix and blend them up in a blender so that they're minced to be roaches would he be able to handle that?

My beardie grits his teeth hard and you cannot pry open his mouth. I have watched the videos on this channel with the tart cherry juice, i start in the corner and work my way to the front but he will not open. I have tried pulling on his beard...gently of course...the saving grace is he trusts me, diesnt really fight and i can slowly pump the juice between his teeth very slowly but i am afraid of drowning him. Any advice from anyone on hiw to get him to open? I mean, the pressure he clamps his jaw shut is unbelievable.

I’ve had to give the critical care to my hognose when he was going through a massive hunger strike. He usually goes through a 2-3 month strike during the winter months but he was going on almost 7 months and no vets around me would mess with him. It was not a fun process at all considering it was a tube feed. BUT it did the trick and triggered his hunger response to come back. He’s back to his normal self and has been for about two years now since I had to use the critical care. Who knew our scale babies could make us worry so much. 🥹 I’m so glad Simba is doing better!

If you caught my earlier comments about my own recent ordeals with intestinal surgery, one of the biggest annoyances were the dietary restrictions for MONTHS(before & after)! Don't think I'd ever craved beans and fiber-rich foods more in my life!!!🌽🥬🥦🍓🌯🥗🍠 Go Simba go! Look forward to seeing you get healthy, strong, and back up to weight!!!
