This is the best video I have seen to help with water changes and what chemicals to put in. I came looking to buy the API Sludge destroyer, was researching it. I will now buy the other. Thank you.

I just finished my babies treatment, about 2 wks. Today I cleaned her tank and live tapeworms were in her poop. I've been spot cleaning using the reptile disinfecting spray, so she should have been clean. Any advice welcomed

Just letting you know (not hate) when bearded dragons get lines on their belly it indicates stress so when you were pulling off the belly shed the dragon might have been a little stressed although the video is great and it’s good that your pulling shed that is coming off ❤

For us, we have many of our 23 out all day or part of the day. How we do it? 1. Many are always ON us with a blanket on top of them to keep our body heat trapped to keep them warmer. 2. If we let some free roam then we use a space heater to heat just that room so it’s warmer. 3. We give them a heating pad near the window if they want to sit there and look out 4. We give them a basking light and UVB exactly where they will sit 5. If we are in our van, each of their carseats have a heating pad. We use our van plug and Jackery portable generators to keep heating pads going. 6. We let them bask up on the van dashboard when we stop and take a break 7. If its too cold up on the dashboard, I put their heating pad up there and then put on the defrosters on hot to heat them more. My vans defroster though is so hot, once it gets going my lizards are like toooo hot so I adjust it lower. I alternate cool air or open window to cool me off! LOL 8. We take them Outside often and we wear jackets and a tank top and T-shirt on top. Our protocol is our lizard goes under our shirts but on top of the tank top, with a light blanket around them, then they get zippered under our jackets with their head poking out so they can see, then I get a heavy baby blanket and cover my jacket where they are laying as an outside cover on top of my jacket. Doing this, I am able to take my lizards out in severely low temperatures. We live where our winters have lots of heavy snow and my lizards get to go out and be with us still. This method keeps them Super warm. We also preheat our lizards heavily before putting them in our shirts and that heat gets trapped and causes us to get hotter making the spot they are laying incredibly hot. 😮 9. In summer months we make sure no air conditioning is blowing on them in the van, we also block off all AC vents in the house where they will be sitting. 10. We wear our lizards in a baby sling, with them wrapped up in multiple blankets. Then, we get someone or their buggy to put the jackery on which is powering the heating pad, which is placed on top of me or under our jackets. 11. We set up basking spots in our van if we absolutely need them or are going to be out way longer. We don’t want our lizards to miss out on trips year round due to weather. So, we have multiple ways to keep them warm, with hand warmer things never used. Unless every other method is gone. We also make sure as we are moving our animals from carseat to us, van doors remain closed and heat gets blasted to overheat van until they are transferred. They also are put back under shirts and jackets if we have to go from Van to another place outside. We have very strict procedures to ensure they don’t get cold. The ways we heat our lizards is pretty extensive but these are the main ways we do it. All of our methods were born out of our deep desire to make sure all our lizards could get out of the house and go on adventures. They have seen ice formations and feet of snow, been in the hottest and coldest places and stay at a near comfortable temperature and they LOVE trips! And truth be told, fur babies get the chance to see really fun things, while lizards get a lifetime of looking at the same scenery…our ultimate goals are to ensure our lizards get out often! This means trips to stores, any of our appointments, beaches, parks, festivals, farms, you name it…they go! Its extra work, we have SO many human heating pads in our house its insane just so they CAN go, but its so worth it! Lizards develop More intelligence and grow individually with every opportunity they get, we can see it in their eyes and its incredible to watch! Giving our reptibabies the ability to be WITH us gives them time away from the boring and a chance to experience the world, its well worth it to see them snuggled into their beds those nights exhausted from a fun day, with the next morning bringing excitement to them, wondering is today another fun day? ❤🦎 PS. Love everything you have to say as always! Thank you!

Man, years ago when I started down the rabbit hole of deciding to get a beardie, you were there with great content and up to date info that helped me to decide to wait. This last year I've finally done everything to get my little princess Mandarin, and here you are putting content out about my exact questions that I haven't really been able to find info on. Thank you as always and great content, keep it up! Mandarin thanks you too!

Our ball python would happily stay out all day! He hates going back in his enclosure, got to be quick when making sure his tail is fully in or his head is coming back out lol. He's usually on us tho, so no worry about him getting cold.

Both my bluey and my beardy free roam most of the day. We are in northeast indiana and have no ac. Humidity is our big worry being on a lake. For the beardy we have three "basking stations" where he hangs out. Just a spiral uvb and an incansmdescent for heat. He just sits either on my wifes computer, my bench in the garage or my desk in my office. Both have free access to their enclosures through the day so they can come and go at will. They get put to bed in the early evening and get locked in.

I recommend changing the uvb to linear uvbs, I recommend Arcadia's desert or dragon bulbs and their fixtures. The spiral uvb bulbs don't produce enough uvb and don't go across enough of their bodies. ^^
