Thanks for this video, I’d built a hunting lodge and couldn’t work out why the villager wasn’t hunting, didn’t realise you had to provide a knife!

If your villagers do not produce enough material that you've assigned them to gather, simply take them out back behind the afore mentioned woodshed! 🤣 Great stuff Saven. While I haven't played this game yet, you've definitely got me curious about it.

Great video Saven! Thanks for the tips and it will certainly help me moving forward as I thought villagers needed to house with each other to be happy. Better move them before they get their freak on so to speak 🤣🤣

Coupling them up does make them happier, but it is not necessary. I recommend pairing them off later down the road once you get set up and can afford to lose the productivity.

Thank you so much for this, I’m a returning player having played the early access on PC. Now I play on Playstation and am loving the game even more, so far! The one thing that was confusing me was that I wanted a second villager but could not put her in the house with the first girl I had recruited! It seems wasteful that each person needs a separate house when there is at least two bed areas to use. I do have faith in these devs though so I’m sure there is a good reason for it. Now I know, thanks to this vid, that each villager needs their own house ! Many thanks, I’m subscribed.

Thank you! Being a newbie (and old) to this type of game I am struggling. I am not use to windows PC’s (being a Mac user mainly). I have worked out the key to press for crouching, but is there a pause button? In other games I press p or space bar to pause. Are there a different walk and sprint buttons? You see I need really basic help! Thank you again for a straight forward, clear video.

Great beginners guide straight forward facts and info without all the fill in chatter. Thanks! The hunter seems to spend most of his time sweeping the Hunting Lodge rather than out hunting, is this normal? There are knives avail in Resource Building. Happiness is green and meat is appearing in the Food Storage. The rest of the workers are busy doing visible tasks. Also noticed the more knives I add at one time the faster they disappear. Is there a stealing factor built into this game? Bandits are turned off while I learn the mechanics.

The animation don't really matter. Even though it may look like your villagers aren't working on their assigned tasks, they are still gathering the assigned resources.

I believe seeds need to be stored in the barn and not the resource storage,I might be wrong though lol

They can be stored in the barn but storing them in the Resource Storage works fine

Hi! Thank you for making these vids, i wanted to let you know i followed these steps, but unfortunaly it wont work anymore, in order to make the buckets in the workshop you also need a woodworker shop to make planks, and the building limits are on 5 on this stage, so the workshop is completly useless at this stage, i had to steal 2 planks from a village...
