I think why Carlos hit John so hard is because Carlos was almost a surrogate son for him in a way, helping fix a bike for him, something he was never able to do his real son, Gideon. That's how I look at it.

From my understanding, up until shortly before the second film, Saw 2, John was able to operate as jigsaw in broad daylight. What if the events of Saw XI, whatever that may be, ends on Cecilia telling the public that John is the jigsaw killer? This would make sense considering from Saw 2 and 3, John has been hiding away in his warehouses etc. Saw XI has to have a huge Hoffman storyline. He could, honestly be the cover up guy since he's a detective, but since Cecilia survived, she could give John one more jab and take away his freedom as a normal guy

The great thing about Cecilia is not how villanous she is, but how she was basically an angel at first

I think it's only now occurred to me, but kudos to this franchise for having a strong leading lady without any huge romantic focus to her story in Amanda.

Also, random thought about Dr Gordon. Cary Elwes is going to be in a new Lionsgate film, “the Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare”. Maybe this could be a potential sign he’s happy to work with Lionsgate. That matched with the idea that the newer saw films have a bit higher budget… maybe he will indeed return!

I thought Saw X was middle of the road for a saw film. It was good, but like the 6th best Saw film. Just some over-the-top plot points. Also the traps, while super gory and satisfying, were extremely unbelievably difficult and absurd, especially for some of the scammers who really didn’t deserve their traps to be so damn impossible. Like…some of those scammers were probably being paid almost nothing to take part in the scam. Either way I’m happy to have the same cast back. Maaaaybe not Amanda, but we’ll see

I actually think the Blood boarding trap was originally supposed to be for Cecilia and Parker. Because one do them had to die. And they would also fight against each other in the blood boarding trap. This would only have happened if Parker followed John’s rules of course. But since he failed, he still died by John’s “back up” trap in the gas room. I think John and Amanda being in the trap was also supposed to be a backup. But yea then Carlos came.

I think Saw XI will be about Hoffman and Amanda having their own separate games that will reflect their personalities. Cecilia will be out for revenge making John unavailable for guidance to Hoffman and Amanda, in which Amanda relapses or something like that, and Hoffman breaking the moral of the traps and ultimately upsets John (when he comes back to the “last”movie)

i think amanda goes on to create unwinnable traps because she’s experienced 2 instances of people surviving traps and not changing. cecilia and that guy from saw 2 who’s name i forgot. he literally threw amanda in a pit of needles, and i think she’s probably a bit traumatized from that. amanda has more of a revenge mindset, she said in saw x she doesn’t think cecilia deserves anything. she just straight up wanted her dead. i also think it would be cool if cecilia is the first person to be put in an unwinnable trap.

I kinda hope Saw XI open with dr gordan and his wise arguing and getting a divorse with Diana overhearing in her room. I guess the movie would focus on her and her ptsd from saw 1. Maybe she would even become friends with Corbett from Saw III

The reason I fell in love with the Saw franchise was the psychological dilemma and that the victims had a choice to live or die. What’s the point of letting a victim hurt them self just to kill the character right after? For the up coming movies it would’ve been cool to see more psychological traps and situations where people actually get to live and get out. It would’ve also been cool to make a movie with all the survivors in one game (like in the nerve gas house) ✌️

Never once in Jigsaw did they ever mention Hoffman as a possible suspect. Meaning to me you have the most epic of plot holes exists if not a single cop had a Hoffman theory the entire movie. Now you can solve that by having Hoffman die before Jigsaw takes place but I better not be seeing any Hoffman movies after the events in Jigsaw 😂

An interesting idea I have for possibly Saw 12 would be that Hoffman was rescued by someone who is apart of the Survivor group or someone that knows the location of the bathroom and believe that Hoffman has the right mindset. Perhaps Gordon could have laid everything to rest but the games start again and he has to figure out who the new killer is that rescued Hoffman as it could be anyone from the Survivor group he led (perhaps even Logan or depending on where Saw 11 goes, Cecelia), including the two Pigmask assailants who joined him in capturing Hoffman (I know it’s supposed to be the two from the start of 3D but that can be retconned). Gordon would feel some semblance of guilt that the games are being continued by someone who is not John and perhaps Hoffman also wants revenge against Gordon and that would make for a perfect opportunity to re-introduce Alison and Diana. This isn’t likely to happen but I feel like it would be a good way to close things out and make up for Saw 3D being horrendous.

If Doctor Gordon does not come back I am not sure the story of Hoffman can be finished, unless they kill him off trying to find him.

Kevin has been confirmed to be coming back as the Director for Saw 11 and I think it’s very likely we get Patrick and Marcus back as writers because Leigh is busy in pre production on a Wolf Man movie and James Wan has his own things going on too so to me, they will likely never return in any capacity other than consulting.

Fan service here’s my pitch (Amanda alive) and Kerry comes back it’s revealed that Kerry escaped her trap in a smart way like she tricked it with acid or something and Amanda didn’t see her die but saw Kerry and then she hallucinated and heard screams and assumed Kerry fate as a dream like Adam where it cuts to black but Kerry because she had no love or affection for Kerry she assumed the most gruesome fate and because she worked with Strahm he kept her fate a secret and she worked with surprise witness Adam to take John, Amanda and Hoffman where Adam more vengeful and he supplied the note but got the intel from Kerry who wanted to get them arrested and now Saw 12 Amanda ends up surviving by Dr Gordan who rescued her and Amanda been completely depressed and hit rock bottom so Saw 12 Kerry alive to hunt down Amanda/Dr Gordan while Hoffman tries to kill them Adam and Kerry have back and forth with Amanda who finds them the hardest to face. Gordon and Hoffman fight trap to trap while Kerry on the case solving it but Adam and Kerry also get captured but Kerry escapes and figures out Adam involvement and Amanda kidnaps her and Adam making them play games personal to them but there’s no harmful aspects as Amanda struggles due to her close bond to Adam and her difficulty with Kerry being a good cop who wants to help as she also wants Hoffman and the police corruption gone. Amanda lets them go and they go and save Gordon Hoffman dies in a massive way Gordan and Adam have a heart to heart before Gordan perishes from his wounds just then they turn to find Amanda has escaped leaving it open for sequels with Adam and Kerry (the arguable best but most underused characters with the most potential with the brains wits grit and likeable personality Kerry and Adam had a lot of potential fighting Amanda the most complex villain who was underused but needed to be explored more like John Kramer) but this is complete fan service lol what’s everyone else’s.

I NEED there to be a skeleton horror sauce teddy one day 😭😭😭

There is no possible way of Amanda being alive. I know they could technically do anything but it's not logical. Hoffman would not have been able to go back and save her AND put Strahm in the box trap. The only way they could make it work is if Logan assisted Hoffman secretly.
