I think Valentina's death in Saw X deserved a shout out. It was by far the most brutal, and for me is only topped by some of the traps in Saw 3. Also kind of set the stage for how serious John was taking his revenge.

Peter Strahm's death is just amazing, with Hoffman smiling inside the box and him yelling : "I know who you are !" Of course you discovered the truth Peter, but you lost the game because you won't have been able to share your findings... GAME OVER

The way Allison Kerry braces herself for the trap going off tells us so much of her character. && Its beautiful how they frame the trap going off. We see it from behind, which seems respectful to her character. We really focus on the what the trap rips from her. Fallen angel losing her wings.

I love how Zoe in the thumbnails always looks like she's having fun even if she's I'm a trap. Very Harley Quinn-esq lol.

One thing I appreciate about Timothy's death is from all the death scenes from n the franchise, he's the only one who looks like he's going into shock, which is something that would realistically happen to someone dying slowly and in excruciating pain

I cannot stomach watching the full saw movies, so I really appreciate being able to watch these videos.

I was soooo upset when Kramer got killed. I remember yelling "nooooooo! No way no effin way no nooo" lol then i was happy they brought him back in flashback movies and made it a good plot twist

Strahm's is my favourite as well. Also my favourite Saw trap. Think it was just brilliantly executed.

I really wish they'd have kept Kerry alive (especially since I feel Saw 4's "recruitment" themes works better for her thematically than it does for Rigg), but felt that her trap sequence was incredible from design to execution. It's like Margarie's death in GOT where you watch the character do everything right but still get killed due to circumstances out of their control. 😭

Your local 4am GMT+11 uploads are always appreciated but it’s a shame I’ll likely never be able to participate in a live premier if you decide to put one out. I’m sure your local fan base would love it though if you did, especially with the guessing games over what’s gonna take the number one spot!

your videos are so fantastic and really cheer me up during the days. really loved the discussions and the list you came up with. I agree that strahm was number 1. He is my favourite character and the way he died was so gross and really scary. it was SO miserable but also really really something you don't want to look away from! That's how I think of it. I'm a bit surprised Venus Fly Trap wasn't on this list. The way the video editing was done was superb, especaillyt he last 6 seconds when the camera moves very fast. did anyone else love that, or just me? And the way he died was really scary and an excellent opening to a Saw film, i don't like any other openings on a Saw film that begin with a trap (apart from 1)

I love these Saw rankings ❤ this is a banger of a list! Some of my favs are Perez/Erickson - one of my most favourite scenes overall and shows Hoffman for the killer he is. One of his most bad ass moments. Lucky Perez getting to be that close to Hoffman as well 😂 Amanda/John - I find the whole end of Saw 3 very emotional. It has a even bigger impact after X. Saw 3 is such a powerful Saw movie overall with its heavy themes. Jill - finally see the reverse bear trap in action. The best thing about Saw 7 is those last epic 20 minutes. Strahm - Such a epic death! And for me that ending makes the film. I’ve always found saw 5 to feel very filler. But that ending is one of the best moments of the whole franchise. It’s my third favourite moment after Saw 1 twist and Hoffman’s escape at the end of 6! One id add that isn’t on this list is Zepp! Just because of where it leads and also Adam smashing his head in with every strength he has left. This whole ranking is spot on though! I would find it hard to do a top 10 as there is too many!

The Timothy Young trap is definitely the most brutal trap in my opinion. Loving the content guys, I like how you come to your conclusions. I am with you Zoe Gill tuck is a witch, watching Hoffam kill her twice is awesome.

Valentina’s death in Saw X was very intense. I’d say her death was the most suspenseful in the entire franchise, at least for me it was.

Big fan of yours,Horror Sauce,always putting out great content....especially about Saw ! So although i agree with the both of you for the most part about the Top 10 Best Deaths,then i am going to disagree about 1 of them and the fact that she's in my top 4 favorite characters in Saw....that's Amanda ! I disagree about her death bc ever since she was supposed to have died in Saw 3 by being shot in the neck by Jeff and bleeding out,then why have we never seen her body ? In Saw the rule of thumb is if you don't see the body,then that character could still be alive.Although Amanda lost a lot of blood,then Dr Gordan could've saved her life.Real people in life have survived being shot in the neck,so why not Amanda ? The only question is,if she did survive all this time,then what has she been up to ? Where has she been hiding ? I think when Lionsgate makes the sequel to Saw 3D and we see what happened to Hoffman after being left to rot in Jigsaw's bathroom,then we may see Amanda return,along with Dr Gordan to take on Hoffman.I just think that Hoffman was too smart to not figure out how to escape the bathroom.I'd be really surprised if Hoffman died in that bathroom because he's one of the greatest villain's to ever be in a horror movie and being that he never liked Amanda and butted heads with her,as well as wants revenge on Dr Gordan...then i think this sequel to Saw 3D could be incredible with the right script.Anyways ,keep up the great work.

before I continue this I would like to say my #1 favorite saw trap is detective peter strahm from saw 5

We know that in Saw the changes are sudden and surprising and that out of necessity and for the benefit of the script, things usually happen that leave us surprised regarding the fate or whereabouts of the characters. Honestly, we never saw Amanda's body like we did John's at the morgue. So...We know that when they take Peter Strahm, Hoffman and Corbett out of the building they mentioned that they didn't find anyone else alive...and we also know that Gordon was secretly supporting John. THEN (knowing the twist of the saga and the script changes between each film) it would not be strange to see that in the continuation of the story of saw 7 they say that Amanda is one of the masked people with Gordon at the time of that movie when he is capturing Hoffman . Maybe they will feature a flashback of Gordon coming quickly to save Amanda and doing something medically miraculous to keep her alive. Gordon probably is hiding in the building because WE KNOW we was part of the plans, he said to John to use Lynn in the game... Maybe he was there just watching and decided to help Amanda while she was maybeee still alive and got into the room after Strahm left -to be later captured in the water cube trap-. With that same premise, I wouldn't be surprised if Adam is another of the masked men and thus fulfills the fantasy of Adam's fans of having changed his body for someone else's in the bathroom. It would be something that would "close the circle" of the saga for many characters so that - to the liking of many fans - they did not have to have died. It would be very very very surprising to see that the two of them were the masked ones and that in the end Jigsaw's story closes with 3 "apprentices" who managed to avenge the memory of John against Hoffman who was the person who was mostly in charge of shitting his entire "cult" and who gave him the most problems regarding the disrespect of his ideology. The other option for the second masked person is Logan. By the timeline of Saw 3D, Logan had already returned from war and he had already finished the medical process the had after war due to psychological traumas... so MAYBE he was part of the "secrets" that john was gonna reveal to Gordon, that there was another person being secretly part of all the "team", so Gordon had the instruction also to contact Logan to avenge the memory of John against Hoffman. I know all this sounds a little crazy... but this is SAW. We know that they will always try to leave us with our mouths open at the end of the movies, so they must find something GIANT to close the saga.

I don’t mind Jill she’s not bad. John’s death should’ve been the best one. Maim character got killed by a literal saw. Straum is one of my favorite characters tho so great list

18:47 personally, I think Jill’s death is one of the worst ones. I know half of the traps/deaths don’t come without torturing the victim for a whole minute, but cranial trauma deaths always mess with me, more so than cleaving a limb or a bullet. Lynn’s death is like, the one exception to this, because the shotgun collar was quick. But Jill’s upper torso and neck stay straight up for a solid 4 seconds even after the reverse bear-trap decimates her jaw, so she felt everything, and was still alive after the worst of it…Those last moments were agony for her, and the mechanism was quick enough to also sever her tongue, which falls out in the end too. It’s just…a lot, to be frank. Valentina’s death is one of the only other cranial deaths I’d argue is just as brutal, because that also wasn’t quick.

Number ten Death... she brings a Hand across without any chains, the next scene her hand is in the air, kinda take you out of it

I would argue another character that deserves to be resurrected is Alison Kerry. Poor girl had an awesome showing in Saw 2 with wanting to play the long game with her & then we start to see that continue in Saw 3 & honestly IMO should've had the type of film centered around her like Rigg in Saw 4. Honestly I wonder as I'm thinking out loud about this character flip of Rigg being in the trap & Kerry being the focus in Saw 4 if that would've made the film just a tad better

Art Blank bashing the blind brute's head in the mausoleum trap then letting out that primal scream and ripping open his mouth stitches will always stick with me. No major story beats or heavy emotion as we have no idea who they are but it's super intense. Ivan's death is also great but i understand why you wouldn't include it. Definitely thought Det. Halloran would have made the list but too bad it's in Jigsaw lol
