I remember when I was young my mom had to go to her doctor in Baltimore when we saw Al going up steps on a building I can not remember which one but he was doing a news segment and my mom yelled hello Al he yelled back hello to her. I miss AL and Jerry on WJZ. I grew up watching the best there was and best that ever will be news team

I,m still very 😢😭 sad & also very 😡 angry & piseed off at both Jerry Turner,s & Al Sander,s death.They both died 8 years apart from each other from CANCER.CANCER TOOK AWAY MY MOTHER IN 1984 MY STEPBROTHER IN 1997 & MY FATHER & STEPMOTHER IN 2001 (BEFORE 9-11-2001) As a 52 year old resident of Baltimore 43 years since 81 at age 9 who grew up with EVERYBODY ON ALL 3 CHANNELS EVEN THOUGH I WASN,T IN TUNE WITH THE NEWS LIKE MOST OF THE TIME!! BUT THE DEATHS OF WELL RESPECTED PEOPLE FROM ALL 3 CHANNELS STILL 🤕 HURT ME TO THIS VERY DAY!!
