I literally needed this video a month ago 😭

Need to finish my Revell B-17 from 20+ years ago when all I had was a paint brush and testors. Luckily after a couple house moves I still have it all in a box.

A supercharger video would be great. I've tried and somewhat succeeded on a P-38 and B-24, using different techniques for each. Thanks for the awesome videos!!

G'day Hank, excellent video! It quietly amuses me when I see so many modellers who do builds of old 'warbirds' that look like they've just rolled off the assembly line at Boeing or Lockheed etc., all shiney and new. That's perfectly fine if, perhaps, you're doing a diorama of an aircraft actually coming out of a factory backdrop. No drama here; like as we all say, modellers can do their builds anyway they want. To me, however, absolutely pristine WW1 or WW2 warbirds look a lot like nice kids' toys; not a representation of historically important weapons systems of yesteryear. I probably wouldn't go down the 'Spanish' weathering road like you did with your B-17 but I understand you were doing this to make a clear, visual point for your audience. That incredibly good build was, obviously, of a B-17 that had done way more of its 'shelf life' number of missions over hostile targets. It also shows, in a real, visual sense, how much battle damage a 'Fortress' could take and still get their ship back home. Cheers, and all the best, Bill H.

Haven't made an aircraft kit in years now,but watching them is always a pleasure,and stains always help for armour modelling aswell I guess,and well appreciate the work you put in on something so big,wher will you put such a huge model once it is done?🤣

What's with the bubble in your paint cup? My airbrush doesn't do that, unless I'm back flushing when cleaning. Your B-17 looks great and really liked the exhaust staining.

I have a question. This came up when I was making decals for some resin figures. The direction of uniform stripes. I've seen photos where the chevron is pointed up, and some pointed down. Is there a meaning between the two directions?
