Scarlett Johansson is ready to go full “Black Widow” on the folks at OpenAi. The tech company released its new voice assistant which sounds similar to Johansson. Sam Altman, who founded OpenAi, acknowledges that he asked her to be the voice but she turned him down. In a statement, Johansson says that she is "shocked, angered and in disbelief.” Altman insists the voice is "not Scarlett Johansson’s, and it was never intended to resemble hers." However, he is promising to stop using it.

Scarlett can't decide who can work and who can't just because she thinks that someone else has a voice similar to hers, which they don't even have. If you don't believe me, you can search on the internet for "How the voices of ChatGPT were chosen." Scarlett can't decide who can work and who can't just because she thinks that someone else has a voice similar to hers, which they don't even have. But now, let's see if this other actress won't be able to work anywhere just because Scarlett says so.

she's right. it's very easy to make the voice very neutral and doesn't sound like a specific person, but the company "choose" to make it sound like her after she declined the offer to be the voice

The reality is Open AI recognized the likelihood of losing in litigation that's why the pulled the plug on Sky's voice. I myself don't think they sound that similar and if her closest friends truly cant tell the difference, that's just sad. @@elmegapeluco

It's a sexy, deep, highly modulated voice. But the similarity ends there. It does not sound like her and there is no way to confuse the two. No matter what you think of OpenAI you can't let an actress claim ownership of an entire category of voices. That makes no sense.
