Omnivor. he can eat anything he wants. he prefers chocolate and brains since that's what it provides the best nutrients for his species. the rest are side dishes. sorry. my apologies. maybe "anything he wants" is a bit excesive. I don't recall venom eating non-biologic matter like rocks or metals.

Thankfully....Marvel's Spider-Man 2 came out and gave me a much better version of Venom. Best thing this movie did with the character was his size and overall design compared to the Spiderman 3 movie. Everything else about the character is utterly disappointing.

I don't mean to be mean, but have you actually read the comics? Spider Man 2 (the game) is second only to Raimi's Venom for how much it's missing on the character. I understand liking the "all evil" Venom, but eh, not really for me. Let Carnage or one of the other symbiotes be that.

How is that mean? All you did was ask if I read the comics and then voiced your opinions on what you personally feel about the character's history with other versions. So to answer your question, the Spiderman comics that I read did not have Venom in them. My history with the character stems from the 90s animated series which is where I really enjoyed the character. Venom as a scary nightmarish parasite with a close connection to Spiderman has always been my preferred characterization. Hence why I enjoyed the Spiderman 2 version. The Sony Venom movie did his size and design justice but that's it. The goofy comedy duo component just isn't my taste. The Spiderman 3 movie got the very basics right storewide but the design and performance behind him was lackluster to put it nicely. We all have our preferences and it's nice seeing someone else's taste. @@scrubscrub4492
