That was an absolutely stunning video. The views were breathtaking. I would love to visit those places the next time I am in Oh Beautiful Guyana.x from Charlene Melbourne, London, UK

With some infrastructure development that area could be a great tourism opportunity for sports adventure. I love the mountainous scenery. With some young Guyanese investments in those communities can be a big boom for the region and people.

What a wonderful video. I love your courage Leana. The adventure is tempting me to go there. Can you please let me know which tourism agency you used in Guyana? Well, I would like to suggest th st the hosts could offer variety of drinks like iced teas, hot or cold chocolate drinks, or fruit drinks. How was the meals and accommodations? I can see you were well taken cared of on the quad bikes ...Please do more videos. I couldn't have enough of this.
@LeanafromGuyana2 жыл бұрын
I went there on a work trip, not via tourism agency. the meals were okay. The guest house and a nearby shop catered for us. we basically told them what we wanted.

@LeanafromGuyana3 жыл бұрын
The air fare I'm not sure of, i went as part of my job and for those areas you usually have to charter a flight so that's what we did. Not sure if they do routine flights. But you board from Ogle airport and there is a health center, no hospital.

Coming from a western country. Alot of our children need to see how those children have to complete daily to learn. Then the western world children would NOT feel so entitled. I think this is why myself I appreciate all I have because my father took me to Guyana has a small child and I bath, used pit toilet and saw no electricity. I loved the adventure and thanked him for the experiences when I was older.
@LeanafromGuyana3 жыл бұрын
Indeed, you appreciate what you have more when you see how people live in these hinterland Region and they seem commented.

@@LeanafromGuyana indeed. Fortunately born and raised in western country, my father made it in life with hard work, perseverance and commitment to work hard and retire home. He instill the same ethics in myself. When you look at this gentleman vlogs, you can see the humility in himself and family. In one of his previous vlog he stated it does not matter if one has money, still just giving a orange or something, it does have to be big, it the though that will be appreciated, from my experience family or friends want to receive but never give, because the mentality is incorrect. Then they wonder what why the get rejected. It not generalisations, it something alot of westerners complain about. Sometimes their families suffering and trying to make ends meet but they feel ashamed to say.
