Schindler's List - Main Theme (Piano Version)
Piano Version by Patrik Pietschmann
After "Jurassic Park" and "Harry Potter" this is my 3rd video with music by John Williams. The Theme from "Schindler's List" is probably one of the most famous by John Williams. Since the original film is black and white, I also decided to make my video black and white. I hope you like it!
Any suggestions for future arrangements? Please leave them in the comments.

@@Michael88324 that the essence of western civilization. if one person dies from poor safety working conditions in Norway its a huge scandal and outrage because everyone is important. if 10000 people die in China building a road, the Government and their fellow citizens couldn't care less. Same in Brazil, same in Russia. Same in the Middle East.

@@Michael88324 my point is, one cannot say the sentence: "who saves one life saves the whole world" once there is no life. For everyone, the whole world is the whole world (whatever that means) equally so if somebody dies, with him dies (his) the whole world, therefore if somebody saves one life, there is one world saved. I hope I made myself clear because I don't speak English every day. :)

Schindler's List is a piece of art. It makes me cry every time I see it. The theme specifically reminds me of Oskar crying in Stern's arms because he thought he could have done more than what he already did. It's just incredible to see a German person that opposed the Holocaust, save so many Jewish people. Love the movie and love the theme song. It touches my heart every time. Its not yours fault friend, blood of this people not on your hands. The most important problem in Germany is that it still blames itself for the mistakes of its ancestors and does not look at what is happening in it now, it is not nationality that determines a person and his actions, but he himself. In Europe, people forget about this and now the German people dooms themselves, clinging to themselves for what they personally did not do and what they could not influence.

I don‘t think the whole german history is just bad. We used to have te second strongest economy in the world and everyone wanted unity and freedom. Our nation is build on brotherhood and unity even though we needed a war to unite. I‘m proud to be a german but this doesn‘t mean I appreciate what we did in the World Wars or with the Jews. We have to deal with our history and think about it and that‘s what every country needs to do in order to prevent something like the Holocaust.

When Steven Spielberg first showed John Williams a cut of this movie, Williams was so moved he had to take a walk outside for several minutes to collect himself. Upon his return, he told Spielberg he deserved a better composer. Spielberg replied, "I know, but they're all dead."

Stumbled upon your channel a while ago, and every single time your video's impress me. This main theme will always hold a somewhat special place in my heart however, as it's probally one of the best movies i've ever seen. Going to repeat a lot of people here, but I actually kind of missed that one single red note somewhere in there!
