Dr Praveen Tripathi is a renowned psychiatrist who practices in Delhi-NCR. He did his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS, Delhi) and MD (Psychiatry) from the prestigious Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS, Delhi). He also underwent training at the world-renowned Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, USA and Kansas University Medical Centre, Kansas, USA. He is one amongst the few Indian doctors who have cleared the prestigious United States Clinical Skill examination that evaluates a doctor's clinical competency.Dr. Tripathi underwent training in the use of transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy from Harvard Medical Centre, which is the topmost medical college in the USA.
Schizophrenia is a mental illness/psychiatric illness which is characterised by symptoms of delusions, hallucinations and negative symptoms. It is a type of psychotic disorder. Schizophrenia is characterised by delusions, hallucinations and negative symptoms. It is caused by neurotransmitter disturbances, especially dopamine and serotonin disturbances. Schizophrenia treatment involves the use of antipsychotics. Dear sir my mother is suffering from schizophrenia since 2015. Her daily(morning and evening) doses of drugs are one Risperidone and trihexyphenidyl hydrochloride with one Trihexyphenidyl hydrochloride I.P. 2mg. But she feel sleepy all the times and pain in chest and headache and vomiting. Does these side effects are temporary or she stopped taking those medicines? Please reply as soon as posible.

MERI elder sister 32 years ki hai. Unhe bhi schizophrenia hai. But Mera maanna ye hai ki ye bimari sister ki life spoil Kabhi nhi karegi kyuki main apni Zindagi ke ant tak is bimaari se ladta rahunga aur apni bahan ko ek normal life ki sari khushiyaan dunga.. koi bimaari Aapke hauslo se badi nhi Hoti chaahe wo schizophrenia hi kyu na ho .. zarurat padi to main apni Puri life apni sister ki treatment karwaunga lekin use Kafi suffer nhi hone dunga...

Sir, I am 28 years old and suffering from sudden outbursts of uncontrollable laughter without any proper reason lasting upto several minutes. Noise outside my house is not tolerable and then there is anger for the last 42 years.Had taken Prodep 10 but there were side affects. So Checked my body and found B 12 and D 3 were short so taking Me 12 od ,D 3 and estilaopram 10 mg and found relaxed. Age 69 .Concentration and brain weak only.Please reply.

Sabse bade baat koi bhi Lower middle class ka mother ,father psychiatrist ka pass nahi la jayenga . Because unko demag ka bimari ha ya unko hajam nahi hoga. Ya sab educated person samjh sakte ha ,illiterate nhi... Or agar patient educated ha ,then kya fayda .. because he is patient, khud bimar insan khud ko kase doctor ka pass kase la jayega. Woo khud abhi kise or halat ma hoga
