Hi Ritu. My father was diagnosed with brain cancer and is being treated for the same for 4 months. Now his MRI and EEG says his brain is almost like a normal human being but from few weeks he has started showing symptoms of schizophrenia and is fully convinced that his family specially me and my mother wants to kill him. At the moment when writing this comment he is at hospital receiving his 4th cycle of chemotherapy... He shouts on every one in the hospital.... It's still uncleared that he is suffering from schizophrenia... tomorrow a psychiatrist will visit him to check... You can guide me handle the patient of this disease as your father too is suffering from same condition. I shall appreciate your valuable suggestions.

Very human advices from you doctor. More and more Doctors(psychiatrists) should spread awareness about the disease among people also as they look down upon the patients because they are unaware of the facts of such A DISEASE as schizophrenia. This illness does not cause naturally with everyone sometime taking a lot of stress for years can make a person schizophrenic so don't take stress the most important thing in human life is to protect yourself from stress

I am a schizophrenic from last 15 year. I accepted that and taking pills from last 14 years. The only change which i saw is i sleep a lot and that is the reason i take the pill so that this voices dont let me not to sleep. Trust me sir accept this that untill now no proper medicines has been found for this disease. Stop fooling your viewers. Thank u.

Socially disengaging, they hear voices, they feel they are victimised. They don't mingle with people much, in some cases suicidal thoughts will come. Depressed or not able to concentrate, they feel they are being followed or someone is watching them etc. my brother has this disease

In the other episode Dr.has clearly explained schizophrenia symptoms and patients who accept their condition and follow treatment and patients who won't accept they have the disease and argue. It is very difficult to make them understand and take proper treatment . They shout on others for no reason and it is difficult for family members to face people. It is very necessary to make society also aware of the disease and cope with. Also high dosage prescription in rehabilitation cause lot of side effects. Some one here has said that Cariprazine(carispec) helped him a lot. Can Dr. suggest whether it is suitable for any schizophrenia patients with Dr s consultation.

I recommend not to stop the medicine. My mother took medicine from 2014 and closed it on getting normal in 2019.... But sadly she got the disease again in 2021

After father's illness and death my mother became a patient ..she was violent ..after 1yr we connected a doctor who told us it was nt just depression it's seizo effective disorder..then medicine continued she cured after 2yrs but again it came back then continue with medicine for 8yrs now continuing..now doctor says it become chronic schizophrenia..she is no more violent all nrmal but speak alone ..where should I go or continue with medicine as past?is it really possible to overcome for her in this life?

There is no 100% cure for this disorder it happens due to Harmonal imbalance and Medicines play a very important role in keeping the harmones level in place and patient can live a normal life. I myself is A schizophrenia patient since 2011... I mean ... I went to doctor for treatment in 2011...after I was in A worst condition.... Then I was 11 years.,. Now I am 21 and still not cured... Can you personally help me out with your suggestions.... Is there any way to contact you on a call??

I am a schizophrenic from last 15 year. I accepted that and taking pills from last 14 years. The only change which i saw is i sleep a lot and that is the reason i take the pill so that this voices dont let me not to sleep. Trust me sir accept this that untill now no proper medicines has been found for this disease. Stop fooling your viewers. Thank u.

Have some unrealistic thoughts. Always try to think positively but the negative thoughts don't leave me behind. Always try to keep good behave with others in any situation. Sometimes I thought that may be people are talking negatively among them about me when I come to them. Feel lonely and shame. Very much deressed.
