I had this happen to me today too. Air temp was about 45-50 degrees here in Texas though. After reading the comments about air circulation around the tumbler, I tried blowing hot air into the lock and it allowed the pins to release and the lock open like it’s suppose to.

Same issue at my house along with the one at my office. This is just a little something I found while looking this issue up myself. (Assuming you use yours regularly, (electrically) I would think a better solution (not to contradict the manufacturer), would be to isolate the inside assembly with a washer or 2 under each screw so that warm indoor air can circulate under the inside assembly, and penetrate to the outside assembly.)

Same problem, but all year long. Takes an extra 3 minutes just to lock the door when leaving. I'll be replacing this lock, a year of torture was enough.

Mine does not work either it sucks

My lock was working fine and I decided to put in a new battery. It stopped working after I installed the new battery.

I tried all the fixes and none helped. Got a lithium battery and no issues since.

I almost have the same exact problem...i can't get it to lock from the outside😤.

I have the same exact issue that starts occurring at 50F. Nothing too cold and it happens just as you show in the video. Any suggestions for a fix?

I Have same issue barely below freezing and my keypad goes dead. Changed battery, still dead. Schlage electronic lock are pure shit!!!

This unit sucks I’m furious I bought it. You only need to push the top button and it unlocks?!?!?!
