In my younger days, The Temptations, because of Melvin Franklin, and The Four Tops, because of Levie Stubbs, were my favorite Motown acts, and The Temps are still close to my full favorites, with The Tops being full co-favorites, with another group, because of Levie and the whole, original, Four Tops group, remaining loyal to each other for their whole individual careers, and parted only with death. That is still, truly, a rare wonder, on this old planet.

Man those Four Tops had some great songs too right up there with the Temptations 🎶

All of these old groups were great. It's kind of sad that The Drifters, The Manhattans, and The Cadillacs didn't rate as much time as the Tops and Temps. I guess that's how it is, but I thought "Under The Boardwalk" made it as big as most of the Temps' and Tops' songs. I know when I was a kid, you couldn't turn a radio on without hearing it played, for several weeks, seemed like months.

My wife and I saw this show in 1985 in Austin, Texas but with a different line up: 4 Tops. Temptations. Johnny Rivers. Steppenwolf among other local bands. Great concert. RIP Levi Stubbs and many others of these bands who have passed on in these 39 years.

I so wish I was there that would’ve been I would’ve never had to went to another concert again I so hope and pray I get to live this moment out before I die and of course I’m gonna teach my grandchildren about music and faith in love thank you so much for this this is what musics all about this is why we pay money to go to concerts and I bet this concert was so cheap

Last week here in Palm Beach - FL, I went to see The Temptations and The Four Tops. I thought would be a show like this one here, singing together and battling. They didn't but still, was an amazing show.
