Die 760mm Industriebahn Brad -- Crişcior diente bis Anfang des 21. Jahrhunderts dem Braunkohletransport von Brad zum Kraftwerk Crişcior. Heute gibt es einen gelegentlichen Museumsverkehr. Im Film Lok EMBA 5 Reşiţa 1336/1957

Antique! Because it is a perfect definition of real train which is close to nature. Choook choook choook steam engine on track passes from beautiful fields & jungle, cross the bridges & lakes with beautiful cultural songs of village. This made it center of attraction. 👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👍👍👍

What a superb characterful Schmalspurbahn that could only be in Romania, thanks for a great video and the links showing that it is still running. I shall make a serious effort to get there this summer.

Hi Grayce , you can see 2 of these RESITA's at Welshpool & Llanfair light railway . They are HUGE compared to the size of "Normal narrow guage " in Wales .

Este bine că mocănița din Criscior a fost repusă în funcțiune dar ca să fie de ajuns neapărat și mocănița de la Scutaru și mocănița de la Viișoara să fie amândouă repuse în funcțiune deoarece multă lume dorește asta. Și este singurul lucru ce poate aduce turiști în România. Mocănița de la Scutaru și mocănița de la Viișoara sînt cele două trenuri pe cale ferată îngustă ce trebuie neapărat repuse în funcțiune așa cum toate celelalte mocănițe din Romania au fost repuse pe șine. Neapărat și mocănița de la Scutaru și mocănița de la Viișoara să fie repuse pe șine amândouă.

Bună seara.! Și mocănița de la Sibiu ar merita să fie pusă în funcție. Există toate sinele, chiar și fostul atelier. Vinciurile de ridicare mai există. Trebuie ceva investiție,dar ar fi frumos. Seară faina.!

Elf 'n safety would have a field day with that dodgy wire rope and parallel shunting ! Not to mention the low growing vegetation, people riding on freight wagons and no 'hi vis' jackets and hard hats. What a great railway - no political bullshit in sight !

Just wondering - How come, sometimes the passenger car is on the end then next you see it right behind the engine. Is this a conglomerate of several journeys? Very pretty countryside and I love trains, especially steam.

I'd guess that the vegetation in the gondola cars indicates they are not in routine use and the green apple on the loco indicates that the route is not in routine use.

at 03:15, the passengers can pick up some fruits to eat from the trees when the train pass by. Besides, interest to see this type of train; because we had no longer had steam train in Hong Kong since 1950s.

Well, this is a heritage run - but it's Romania. Means: they'll run this train as long as it is possible. Some kind of commercial steam you'll find searching for "Wassertalbahn"

The communist era brought us a whole lot of railroads and trains...most of them are diesel,running on standard guage(1435 mm)...the steam locos that can still run are these narrow guage heritige ones....the big ones are left on old tracks,producing rust.

nelson lederer In some parts where there's thick forest and forestry works are done in the are, then there are steam locos used for transporting the logs. Though they're mostly used for tourists.
