Shoukd see the episode where this guy lies about his epilepsy to get the okay to drive. Rams into a pregnant woman's car and kills her, but gets let off because he had an epileptic fit and the dmv gave him his license back because he got the ok from a doctor. Even tho he willingly lied to the doctor to get his license back. Only justice was the investigator tried again, but had his job made super easy cuz the guy crashed into someone else. And then was given only 3 years, after causing a total of 5 car accidents in like 3 years, and killing a woman and her baby from his negligence for lying about his disability to doctors. It's putrid what the "justice" system does sometimes

Murder requires the intention to kill the person, and sometimes even that isn't enough. At least legally, these cases aren't much different from someone being killed in an industrial accident because their coworker ignored the safety protocols. Besides, I wouldn't exactly call 11 years in prison (or even 5) "little jail time".

My daughter and her boyfriend were on their way to the airport to catch a flight to California, when they were rear ended on the Interstate. The car in front of them stopped and she stopped only to be hit by the car behind them, shoving her car into the car in front of them. The car in front also left the scene. Fortunately, they only received minor injuries from the airbags. They have an attorney handling the case because the driver that hit them from behind is trying to blame my daughter for stopping on the interstate. Her car is a total loss, book value $23,000, damages $24,000.

Hell just look at the roads today, most people cut in front of big rigs without a care in the world. A large number of cross-country crashes - least here in the states anyway - are mainly caused by drivers cutting off big rigs to closely and causing the accident (or, and I feel this is far worse, cutting them off and then break checking them)

The crazy thing is that they do it in the US but retired busses are sold to the public at auction so it's not always true that they are owned by big companies. I converted a bus into an RV and people are always jumping out in front of me like crazy people. They'll get a rude awaking if they survive a crash. That's what's nuts too... people think they'll survive a crash with a bus or big rig or dump truck and well... they may not so they are really gambling with their lives.

The first crash could have been prevented by following the motorhome at a safe distance instead of being so close. Either that or pass it on the left. I was in a car accident with another car a little bit over 11 years ago in early March 2012. It was other driver’s fault I’m not paying attention at all. He was a mailman delivering mail and made a left turn just after delivering mail towards the mail box. I thought that he was still doing his job when I passed him. I even felt the impact from his car and that was where I broken my left ankle. My car did rolled over once. It happened so quickly. I was so lucky to wear my seatbelt in the accident. I even had about 3 bruises and a tiny bump, too. I was so scared just shortly after it happened and even almost cried, too. The EMTS and firemen were there. Even the police was there just after it happened. I rode back in the 🚑 towards the hospital.

I have to call out their thoughts on the injuries the driver should have sustained in the water accident. (He wasn't driving, don't get me wrong, but there's some flaws.) 1. Unless you have an issue with bleeding, from meds or otherwise, bruises don't form instantly. 2. It is COMPLETELY possible to be in a major crash and sustain exactly 0 injuries. I've been that person. (Passenger in a car that hit the big blunt end of a guardrail at 80mph. And scared the everloving HELL out of the poor first firefighter on scene. He was expecting dead bodies, not a pigtailed college freshman being polite and greeting him because she was in shock. )

That would have required him being honest with her about when he was taking his meds. Unless they do regular blood testing (which is only required for some medications), the doctors have to rely on the patient not lying to them or something happening that gets reported to them somehow. If none of those things happens, the doctor can't do jack-diddly because they don't know about it. Since he hadn't gone to the hospital for a seizure, or had one in front of anyone, she had no way of knowing he wasn't medicating correctly.

America has roughly eight times the people of Canada and yet we have 40k deaths from car accidents. 8*3k is only 24k. That's a significant difference. Further, they have more overall injuries at 2.4 million adjusted. So they aren't avoiding crashes altogether, just deaths. I wonder why? Frankly, I suspect that they drive newer vehicles and wear seatbelts more often. After all, unlike the US Canadians are far better off. Well that and snow might account for the increase in accidents overall but decrease in death.

for me the car behind the motorhome should have been able to stop along with the bus. the bus driver could see over the car to see the motorhome, and a motorhome doesn't stop as rapidly as a small car would, so the bus and the car were tailgating.

At the 1:27 Marc the doctor talks about self medication and how missing a dose of medication may be just as serious as taking too much of a prescribed dose that you could put yourself at risk more often or you could put others at risk. So, tell me how's that when my new doctor is taking all his patients off there pain medications and not tapering them off, So if I get into a accident the next few days I bet the accident investigator won't use that as a cause of the accident which it could be from what that doctor said at that point of this video..

I can tell you this dont drink and drive and dont get into a vehicle with drunk driver. I wasnt the one driving and no one was hurt but i can recall falling asleep and then us hitting a mailbox i didnt feel a thing and it was quick. This is probably why people dont get injured much when they are drunk. We didnt hurt anyone but a mailbox and ditch. 😢😢. I will never ride with a drunk driver again. I know it was dumb but u live and learn and i learned to take people's keys and hide them.

If the car and the bus had been following from a safe distance, there would have not been a collision. A safe distance leaves you enough room to stop safely if the vehicle in front of you were to suddenly come to a sudden and complete stop, like the motor home did. Same with the bus. That bus driver should have lost her job, after she does a pee test.

IT DOES NOT MATTER ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD THE GUY BEHIND THAT DOES NOT STOP IS IN THE WRONG, IF HE RUNS INTO YOU ITS HIS FAULT. HE MUST OBEY THE RULES OF THE ROAD, DRIVE AT A SAFE DISTANCE DISTANCE

If someone pulls right in front of you and slams on their brakes you are NOT going to have time and space to stop. That's why they do it. The two following cars (the one that burned and the bus) may have been at fault but not the rv camper thing that got "brake checked". Also, "anywhere in the world" is not a valid statement. Some places have very different traffic laws. Some places don't really have any.

why dont you try to live in infrastructure made to keep in heat when its -20 and then it goes to 102?. look at texas buildings were made for warm temperatures adn what a slight cold did, imagine that but in opposite spectrum of temperatures.
