Lebhafte und wunderschöne Aufführung dieses romantischen und fein komponierten Konzertstücks mit brillanten doch zugleich milden Tönen vierer genialen Solohörner sowie gut harmonisierten und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen der anderen Instrumente. Der intelligente und geniale Dirigent leitet das perfekt trainierte Orchester im veränderlichen Tempo und mit möglichst effektiver Dynamik. Wahrlich hörenswert!

Fabulous job!!! As a horn player, I know from the inside just how difficult the Konzertstück is, for each part, not just the lead. These guys performed it brilliantly, and let's not forget the orchestra's fine playing as well. The tempos were quite brisk, yet the ensemble playing was dead on and everyone made it seem effortless. Bravo, bravissimo!

A fantastic performance of one of the most difficult works in the concert repertoire. The ensemble was marvellous and they looked as though they were having fun.

Nice to see what the inside of the "Old Opera" looks like. In the mid-1970's, while I was stationed in Germany in the army, I attended numerous opera performances at the so- called "Tin-Can Opera House". I even go to see a concert performance of "Norma" from the upper balcony for 4 marks. Of course, I couldn't see half the stage!

I have to agree that this is the best rendition ever. I should say that this is an outstanding performance. Outstanding horn players. Especially, considering how difficult this is to play. Schumann would have been very proud. Thank you so much for uploading this magnificent concert.

I like this performance very much. Very good horn quartet, very balanced, extreme good clearity in the performance, lot of musical energy and not playing as loud as possible!!!
