The Lord gives us strength, it’s only because of him I have persevered. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. My husband passed away years ago. I’m all alone. I lost my job over declining the vaccine. LIKE MANY OTHERS! I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children since losing my job from Forsyth hospital. I’m now waitressing, and I’m thankful, but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. Gas and groceries are super expensive. Every month is a battle to not end up on the streets with my two boys. I’m constantly in fear of losing my home. But even as I face homelessness seemingly every month. I have faith, God will provide. He has this far. With GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Thank you Jesus.

“Science lays claim to knowledge about the material world.”

Fantastic message, science is an exciting exploration of God's creation. He scattered the pieces, and said "wonder, wander, build and explore". When you examine the arguments in relation to modern humanistic science, they are laughably thin. The problem is the modern has been trained, via education, not to question the premises of the arguments; nor do they have the ability to think about them critically. Modern education has done its work in dulling critical thinking and installed uniformity.

This was a fantastic message. The incoherence of science without acknowledging the source of the the subject of that knowledge is the natural consequence of sin. The self refuting nature of that position is, as Doug says, burning up the Christian capital of history. It's as if we have jumped off of a cliff and are pretending that we can fly. Eventually gravity will catch up and, without some outside source to keep us aloft, there is going to be a hard devastating crash. Thank you for posting.

That was really good.

One of my favorite portions of Scripture. It's one of those sections that I'd choose in those hypothetical, "If you could only read one Bible passage for the rest of your life" questions. It's documented fact that so many students who grew up in church get their faith destroyed when they go to college. Thank you for addressing this issue and actually equipping your people for this battle. This issue is so rarely even acknowledged!

I agree! But, I do have a genuine question. I believe the underlying stability of the physical universe demonstrates the stability of the Lord's steadfast covenantal love (Jeremiah 31 v35, 36). Given this premise: how do you answer the "distant starlight problem" - associated with a young earth - from a covenantal perspective? I don't know how to fight this battle. Neil Fletcher. Love Doug Wilson and everything about this sermon.. except for the presuppositionalism stuff. Not only is classics apologetics logically more consistent (not evidentialism) but it’s also much more Biblical.. because Jesus Himself appealed to the laws of logic in order to prove scriptural proofs.. such as when He said “and since scripture cannot be broken” what He is saying is that “since scripture cannot contradict itself” aka the Bible follows the law of no contradiction.
