The Scott Superlight is a supremely comfortable, stylish and capable mid to light weight adventure outfit, ideal for UK Spring and Summer riding. Since reviewing this set, I keep coming back to it as one of my favourite outfits; giving you just enough of everything you need without going over the top.

Thank you so much for pointing out the various CE ratings for impact/resistance! I am often looking at adventure/enduro gear for riding things like the TET tracks. Most often these trips do include quite a lot of stretches on-road where I'd like to be wearing AA/2 protection. However, most adventure/enduro gear that is lightweight does not include this level of protection. Obviously there's some brands that do: Adventure Spec, Rev'it Dirt, Mosko, but these are in the upper segment. There seems to be a gap in the market where these Scott garmets fit nicely 👍

Scott just makes really nice stuff. Wish it was available in the US. I’d like to see some details on the pants.

I have bought a set myself for use in the spring / summer. They are just so nice to wear. We do also ship to the US! I didn't get too much chance before this video to use them due to the weather in the UK winter. Can you share a little more info about abrasion resistance in case of tarmac spill for example?

Being AA CE approved : this specifies Zone 1 at 412.6rpm, 265.3rpm in Zone 2 and 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3.

Andrew, hi. How would you stack this jacket up against Knox Tor? Speaking of lightweight jacket for summer adv touring/riding, which one gets your points? Let's leave waterproofing outside the conversation. Thank you.

Hi, good question. I actually have both! If I could only have one it would be the Knox Tor because it really does work a charm in super hot weather and has the armour fitting closer which is optimal. It comes down to the sort of riding you are doing in my opinion. I reach for the Superlight when it's nice but not crazily hot and I'm not doing anything too testing. For proper 'adventures' and taking off road I'd want the Tor - Andrew

Will trousers fit over MX boots?

I have the TCX Dritfers which are a typical full height ADV boot and they fit fine. If you have an actual MX boot like the Tech 7, they will just about fit, unless you have a size 12 UK shoe, or 'bigger' calves. It's difficult to give a one size fits all answer here I'm afraid. - Andrew
