@zedzed headhead Astounding that you believe a man, with obvious dementia, got more votes than Obama? Are you delirious. Here is a clue that there are more common sense people of both Parties, that are disgusted by the lies. CNN and main stream media are tanking dramatically. Hollywood is losing money. I am an Independent and voted for Obama the first time. There are more examples, but since you appear to have a case of cognitive dissonance, enough said. Our chats are over. Fini, done.

@zedzed headhead the election audit in arizona being carried out now is showing major issues like many americans have been saying happened in the 2020 election. Duplicate ballots with no corresponding original, 10-20% of ballots missing from batches counted, aka 200 was counted in the election but the batch has only 160; also the maricopa county refuse to give access to routers which would show the dominon voting machines were connected to the internet. Once they get them and they show they were connected, then anyone around the world can hack in and change votes no problem, 0 security. The 2020 election was a massive fraud, I would be surprised if Biden got any more than 30 million real votes. All the evidence is being covered up by the mainstream media and big tech as much as they possibly can, they are complicit in overthrowing Trump, the real president.

My Scottish brother, the original release of this song by Lee Greenwood has always been a favorite of mine and I have wanted to learn it to sing it myself at our Independence Day Celebrations. This version, as you have said, is so well done and while still featuring Lee Greenwood as the main vocalist, is enhanced by the a cappella group, Home Free, and members of the U.S. armed forces. As an American, with predominantly English and French ancestry, I am a descendant from a great American family that produced notable patriots such as Samuel Adams and two U.S. Presidents, John Adams and his son, John Quincey Adams. I live in Alaska, and having served in the armed forces myself, have always had a great sense of patriotism and seek to preserve those freedoms that my ancestors fought to establish.

Glad your father is still here. I'm a Vietnam vet, too. Getting old, but this song brings tears to my eyes for all the boys (and they were) who died.

Well, if you haven't experienced Home Free before, prepare yourself to fall headfirst down the rabbit hole. They're an a capella country vocal band. They've done other songs featuring other singers ( check out their collaboration with Don McLean for the 50th anniversary of American Pie )...each one brilliant. Start with Man of Constant Sorrow. And no, there are no instruments. We Home Fries will be waiting for you at the bottom of the rabbit hole. We'll save you a spot.

The singers who weren't in camo are members of the group Home Free, an absolutely wonderful a capella group. The bass that you enjoyed so much is a member of that group. My husband had the great honor of attending a private concert given by Lee at a political fundraiser. Hubby had a front row seat beside Mrs. Greenwood during the concert. There are a lot of us who feel that THIS song should be our national anthem.

As a couple of folks have pointed out - this is actually a cover of the song arranged by Home Free an A Capella group. They worked along with Lee Greenwood (the original for the song) and the military to bring this version to you. The Home Fries (fans of Home Free) are very defensive of their group. So glad you loved this version of the song. There is a video that shows the making of the video that goes into a little more detail on the Home Free channel which will tell you a little more (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d7yGZcmF1KnQo4E.html). I do agree that you should acknowledge Home Free in the title as well. All in All, thank you for listening to them.

Lee Greenwood (first singer) sounded great for 75! He wrote and sang the song originally. Home Free is an “a cappella” group (in plain clothes) that backed him up. Their bass, Tim Foust, is amazing. And their beatboxer (no instruments) did the drum sounds and a jet flyover sound at the end! The Air Force Singing Sergeants were great. All had great voices. It’s a great rendition. Great reaction Don!

This is our honorary anthem. Once on a school trip in the 80's the escorts were trying to get us teenagers settled down on the school bus as there was a lot of ruckus and shenanigans going on. They started a school cheer and that just made things worse. Then they started singing this song and within moments every voice was joined in and singing, everyone settled down and we had a pleasant trip. We all love this song.

In my opinion, this A Capella version is even better than the original with Lee's added runs and the additional voices which was not in the original.

Thank you for your reaction on this video. Lee Greenwood, who recorded God Bless The USA, also recorded God Bless You Canada and here is his song while the video shows our Canadian Highway of Heroes. It is very moving. When one of our Canadian soldier passes overseas, they arrive at the Canadian Armed Forces Bases in Trenton, Ontario and is driven to Toronto, Ontario's morgue. It is great to have an American sing for Canada's own. Hope you enjoy this video. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mdGWi9Viqq6zaYk.html BTW, wearing red on Fridays started in the USA and has grown to many countries, including Canada. We wear red to support our troops who are deployed somewhere in the world. Thank you from a military spouse.
