I am a Banter Family member. I lost every dollar I had, in the Luna collapse. But I am also rebuilding more confident than ever. Thanks to Scott for hosting this story. When you get the Macro in Crypto, you cannot be more confident about the future. Simply buy the the macro low with what you have and have at least a 5 year time frame for the results you know you can achieve. Ran has been instrumental in my understanding of the fundamentals and I continue to be active in bolstering the Banter numbers one follower at a time.

You can be greedy and being greed can be good. But being greedy and stupidly following someone who lies directly in your face ist just one thing: stupid. You lost your money, because you didnt do your own due dilligence, but followed influencers. Learn to asses your risk and the underlying blockchain technology better. Luna collapse I saw coming. Same will happen to Solana and Avalanche. These are propped up pump and dump schemes. When he is telling you "i lost over 100 million", you must ask yourself how many people like him there are out there. Probably around 20 who basically own everything. He mentioned a tweet I remember vividely. This tweet was his last chance to dump his coins and Im 100% sure he did manage to dump a portion of his coins onto his over 600k followers. In this game people like him are the sharks and you are sheep. Wake up. Dont again be sheep.

@@seanorourke8470 ~ Some of the worst advice I've ever seen, so you either have no legit experience in crypto or you have a poor track record. Increased rolling fees, volatility, and the higher tax brackets (under one year) alone would eat all potential profit margins.

I lost a lot in Luna, Ran introduced me to it I put in what I was willing to lose understanding I could lose it all. I watched my money go up, didn't take profit. Even when Ran said he was overexposed in Luna and was looking to change it (before it collapsed) I still did nothing. I blame only myself - would never look to blame Ran or any other influencer. I'm even more motivated than before to learn about the technology and what I am investing in before I invest. You can either pity party or get it together and try again. Learn from your mistakes and keep going.

I enjoyed this interview. I like Ran. I probably got into Luna because it was described on Banter. I like the idea of a decentralized stable coin. Within limits the algorithm to maintain the peg worked. I had $2050 of Luna (aggregate cost basis) and when the peg was lost I bought another $425 Luna to reduce my cost basis per coin believing it might recover and then I would have an easier chance to break even. What I did not appreciate was that the algorithm was open loop. Rather than LUNA being limited to a billion tokens max, they were issuing trillions so that the market cap was decreasing as so many coins were minted they were considered worthless. This was not Ran's fault or Crypto Banter's fault. We all had expected the algorithm to be more robust than it was. I lost only $2475 all told, and hope that can be used as a capital gains tax write-off. But the idea of blaming Ran or Crypto Banter for my losses is just grotesque.

Haha nearly exactly what I did..the only mistake we made was acting too quick to buy more instead of finding the bottom..then the 475$ Buying at bottom could of made a quick buck..so small margins success or failure
