Scrapping electric motors - a complete breakdown

Here I scrap 2 electric motors and give a run down of all the components of these motors.
These are pneumatic motors that you commonly find in hoovers but they are both a little different from each other and a little different from ones I've previously scrapped.

On those motors rather than beat the motor out you can clip the copper wires and unwind it by hand in way less time. Love seeing how you do things though. Nice to see another person going through the same scrapping issues. It's always an adventure you always find something different.

Scrapped many vacuums. Push a screwdriver at the bottom the take the nut off. They are mostly right handed threads so do it backwards.

I can get 12 of those done in an hour. The friendly prusader does wonders to speed up the process.

Squeeze the bell in your vice really tight and the motor pops right out.

As always, another enjoyable video my brother! I gotta say, I’m kinda glad I don’t find that style of motors often. But I feel more confident now. Is there a big football match happening? Just curious about that shirt/jersey you showed us at the very end.

Thanks brother. This motors can be a real pain in the butt, but i think I've got it down pretty slick now in taking them apart. Scotland play in the European championships in Germany in the summer and I'm going to be there. Got that shirt as a present from my youngest son. So just showing off the retro top.

@scrapitall200 you have my friend and I've said if you ever make it over, I'll show you some of the most beautiful places in the world. There is nowhere like the beauty of Scotland brother and there are golf courses everywhere. Carnoustie is also amazing for golf and that's not far from me. Even St. Andrews is only an hour an a half drive away
