Thank you for the tutorial. Hearing you speak of your granddaughter was so heartfelt. My 9 year old asked me if we would ever hug again...grands are so special.

Well, now I know that I am 5 years older than you, I graduated in 1969 and was married in 1972. Married 49 years in September this year, my how time flies. Love scrappy Saturdays! Your ring is very pretty. 😊

Love the story about your ring. It is beautiful and so happy Mr. A replaced it in the same way as your original. My dad gave my mom pear shaped diamonds for earrings one year for Christmas. She wasn’t expecting them at all and when she opened them she dropped one in the carpet. Needless to say we were all on our hands and knees looking for it. Since they were unmounted it was nearly a needle in a haystack.

It has been a while since I have been by to watch you. Our holidays were quiet, but nice. And I know just how you feel about the tree. We start the kids home schooling on Monday, so I suspect if we don't get the tree down by tomorrow it will be next weekend. I guess that is ok because we only got it up the Saturday before Christmas. I love Scrappy Saturdays. And it looks as if we may be moving into our new house after January 20th. So busy stuff coming up. I need to make a Crazy Chicken Lady Journal for our real estate agent. She has been an angel.

Must confess in my busy ness of life I forget to watch you more often Gayle rally love your tute on making pockets and tuck spots Must confess enjoy your slightly shorter tutes Many thanks for the joy you bring in our crafting world Can relate to your grandma's and missing them etc We live 2 states away here in Australia from them. Yes not seeing them very often pulls at the heart strings.

Uh oh. Watch what you wish for. Those scraps will multiply in the night while you sleep and before you know it you’ll have to buy furniture to create places for them all.😉 At least that’s what happened to me. Thankfully I have a handy husband who built me a large wall unit for a Christmas present. So for at least a little while I have places for all my scraps.

My love affair with paper , pens, ink & crafting started when I was a small child and it has never really gone away! In college I loved going into the bookstore browsing all the great stuff. Awww Gayle! What a nice story about your ring. I just knew Mike would surprise you with something really cool for Christmas! While you were talking today I realized that you graduated 1 year before me and was married 1 year before my hubby and I. We have 3 children. 2 girls and a boy. And 3 grand babies. All boys though. No girls to craft with.

hehehe hello gayle~ or you could “dump” the scraps in a flat tray & you could then easily rummaged them according to the sizes you’re collaging rather than pulling them out of the sandwich bags one by one? i apologize but just an idea? love from Singapore~

I have learned that I need to make some kind of different pockets. All I ever make are just straight across or a corner pocket. I need to make some with the tucks or folded up.

Gayle, maybe someone else has suggested this...but I have an idea that will help a tiny bit with missing hugging the people you love!!! Cross both arms around yourself as if giving yourself a hug. Actually squeeze, just like you would to hug someone. You'll feel the sensation of adrenaline, or whatever it is, that makes it feel so good. The idea is to stand across from the person or people you want to hug, and BOTH or ALL of you do this at the same time. "1, 2, 3...HUG!" It's amazing! It gives you ALMOST the same feeling as if you were able to hug them! Try it...let me know what you think. ❤

Lovely as always! You could make packets of scraps and book pages to sell on Etsy. I purchased paper scraps and bits, from Kagedfish at her meet and greet, for collage such fun to play with. Hope you're holding grandbabies soon. I'm so lucky we were able to spend time with grandbabies recently. No kisses yet but I'll take what we get. 🐞🌨️☃️❄️🤗

Yes! I have sold bits and scraps before, but scrapbook paper not digitals. I think it might be a no no to sell other’s digitals even if they are scraps. 🥴❤️

Love the pockets! TFS! I take my Christmas tree down, around the 16th or 17th of January, as we celebrate Ukrainian Christmas on January 7th and Ukrainian New Year on January 14th.

Hi Gayle, we’ve just been put in National Lockdown till at least middle of February, so no seeing grandchildren or son & daughter. Hate the fact that we only live 5 minutes from one and 15 minutes from the other and can’t see them. Thank goodness for crafting. I’m getting my first sewing machine in a couple of days, what size needle should you use for sewing paper. Xx

I have a lot of 'glue pages' to use up so this was a perfect craft long for me today 😊 Just to let you know , your last 2 videos have adverts back, this does not bother me personally , but I know you like to know as some don't like them .
