Bothers me that they went to Georgia and Michigan for the later Woodsboro scenes in 4 and 5. Napa Valley is beautiful and kind of perfect for that series. When I was a kid my babysitter's family owned Stu's house, and I got to hear a little about the filming. They definitely kicked her out after a hot minute because she wasn't supposed to be allowed there. But kind of cool having that little connection to what was my favorite movie for a while.

@@predminator8157 I actually like Predators also, and I’m pretty sure it was filmed in and around Austin. I didn’t care for The Predator very much lol. Yes, for Terminator, I actually have been to the Tech Noir location several times. They were doing a full gut and renovation, last time I was in town. As for the rest, it’s been a while, so it will be cool to revisit. And the original will be mind blowing!!

@@NickP ha, wow..I literally just sold my ZV-1, cause I didn’t like the motorized slow zoom. If you watch some of my videos, I use a zoom quite often and like to be able to zoom far in and out quickly. Your picture quality almost seems better than what I remember getting with mine. At the moment I’m back to using my iPhone 13 Pro Max which does the job for now. I really do love the Cinematic mode. Anyhow, jealous of this huge get inside the Macher house. I tried to reserve it through that Airbnb special they had Halloween weekend, but of course I was beat out. I gotta get out to Northern California soon. One day, we could perhaps collab and title the video, “Nick & Adam WERE Here” lol

I just went onto the website and called the number. After speaking w someone I was given the contact email of the lady who coordinates visits w the homeowners. It costs a little bit of money. I had to push a little bit too, they are California people (a little laid back lol). The owners are very cool people. Time was of the essence as our trip approached and I was not getting a guaranteed time. So I had to email and call. I have the number somewhere. Let me know when you want to go. I’ll dig up the number and put you in touch with them.

I found the website for the Spring Hill Estate, which is where the house is located in Tomales, Ca. They host events of all kinds. I found the contact info on the site and was able to get in touch with the right person. I had to send a few emails but the lady is great. She had to wait on the owners to get back in touch with me. The owners were also great. I think there’s still a promotion going on for the upcoming movie. We didn’t have that option. It costs money to get the tour otherwise.

There is tours all the time of that house. I live in Santa Rosa where it was filmed.

The owners said yes

It was last June, so not too long after they filmed the new movie.

Lol they didn’t mention that but I guess they had a change of heart. It was a little difficult getting in touch with them but they were awesome. People can now spend the night at the location. We didn’t stay over. There’s a special going on now for the promotion of part 5.
