Some episodes were absolutely devastating. I cried so much.

This show is incredible. Then again, I wouldn't expect anything less from HBO. Look at their resume' : GOT, The wire, this, deadwood, curb, boardwalk. Entourage and silicon valley are lower tier hbo shows and they're still pretty good. Fact: HBO is the greatest network for scripted shows. Not opinion. I you don't think so, you might lack taste(JK, you can like whatever you want, was being self-indulgent).

I was only 1 month when this masterpiece came up in 2001, I just finished this amazing-life changing show I ever watch. and it takes 20 years till I found this show, can u imagine

The Fisher family was four people I came to love over 60+ episodes. I always felt that they were worthy of my attention. I was going to say that Nate and David were my favorites, but Ruth and Claire were great too. // Everyone else on the show was part of a supporting cast.

Anybody else just finish the show and want a hug, my arms are spread :,)

I watched Six Feet Under as it came out in 2001 by buying the DVD box sets (I was 18 at the time) and it really impacted me in a profound way. One of the best shows ever. I rewatched it recently almost 20 years later and the way I looked at it changed because I grew up. I felt different things for different characters.

I love this show to death ;) and honestly it did have a lasting impact on me

Never missed not one episode........loved every character, I swear the burial and death of Nate.........had me sobbing. I could so understand and relate to him.

No other television show had a better ending than Six feet under, to bad the creator fuck up the ending on his other show Tru Blood
