The best third instalment is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The Dollar trilogy started with a low-budget Kurosawa remake and ended with an epic adventure in the middle of the Civil War with Eastwood, Van Cleef and Wallach, pretty much the biggest western stars after John Wayne. It's the best western (Once Upon a Time in the West is 1 millimeter behind it, so don't get angry) and the best third instalment in a franchise.

There is only one superhero that can win in the hunger games. It's Deadpool. He is literally immortal. No other superhero can top that power. any other superhero will eventually just starve to death and die. meanwhile Deadpool can just wait it out and fuck with people.

Just to add. There is also no other superhero who could win an audience and sponsers like wade. His absolute lunacy would appeal greatly with the people in the capitol and the sponsors would just shower him with all that he would need to kill off his opponents via teleporting. Hands down deadpool for the win. Also, how hilarious would it be for deadpool to teleport out from time to time to narrarate the hunger games himself next to a stunned commentator

I dunno. He is very immortal, but if say Superman or Martian Manhunter took him apart at a sub-atomic level with laser vision, I have a tough time wondering how he'll regenerate from that. And Silver Surfer could easily just drain the immortality out of him.

+CurryDood I thought also that the best would be Lotr and Good,Bad and Ugly.. though i think The Good The Bad and The Ugly is not intended to be an actual trilogy even if i want it to be one ( not 100% sure . Also has same actors for different roles e.g. 1,2 have different villain with same actor )

If there's going to be one animated Disney movie that can be made into a good live action movie it'll be Mulan. The story is big enough to become an epic and Mulan is such a very interesting character. I think Mulan is an underrated animated movie in the Disney Renaissance and I think it can become a good live action movie.

The Emperor’s New Groove in live-action. Bring back John Goodman as Pacha, Patrick Warburton as Kronk, David Spade as Emperor Kuzco and he can voice the character when he’s transformed into the llama that should use a live suit, animatronics, and a little CGI. The Mayan setting, the sorcery, and the modern dialogue would be fun in live-action. Like a modern Princess Bride.

I want a Great Mouse Detective movie. If they translated that to live-action using all practical effects and got someone like Tim Curry to replace Vincent Price as Ratigan, it would blow every live-action Disney cash-grab out of the water.

Casting a big Disney female star such as Brenda Song as Mulan would be good. Brenda has do great work in both comedy and action movies such as "Wendy Wu Homecoming Warrior". Also Bring back Eddie Murphy to do the voice of Mushu.

Superman vs Wolverine vs Hulk in the Hunger Games? Popularity: Superman - not very popular. Goodie two shoes. Banner - not very popular. Weak little nerd and no one knows he can shift into the Hulk so they're in for a surprise. Wolverine - easy fan favourite. Total badass. Results of fight: Hulk wins. Superman is wholly against murder. If he can avoid it he will. And he can here. He'll just bust out the arena and leave. Simple as. Wolverine will try to kill Banner, but he'll just aggravate him and summon the Hulk. The Hulk will then tear Wolverine apart over and over and over and over again. There is NO WAY for Wolverine to win. Sure the fans will love Logan and send him all kinds of weapons, but it won't matter because the Hulk will regenerate, get angrier and stronger. And on top of that his rampage will make him HUGELY popular with the fans who will give HIM weapons. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if they sent Banner a shot of adrenaline after he reverts back to himself when he thinks the fight is over and wolverine dealt with. Eventually it'll reach a point where the Hulk will be so frustrated with fighting the same guy over and over that he'll rip his head off, tear his body apart and smash those parts into the dust.

If we're going to go with bullshit logic like refusal to fight, then why even bother including the characters? No, if we're going for full on kill or be killed logic, then it would be Superman. This isn't even about popularity, it's about logic. Banner would probably run first, and Wolverine would probably go for Supes first out of reducing the number of threats, and get murdered. Hulk would follow up and get fanboy rage inducing OP'd by Supes.

Ok, 1. Superman HAS killed humans, he's killed The Joker, AND Batman in canon. 2. Superman is powered by the sun's solar rays. So given enough radiation from the sun he could overcome the kryptonite for long enough to kill wolverine. 3. If I had to pick I'd say Thor would win, because he;s a god. He could just create the kryptonite, kill hulk with the hammer (shown in the comics) AND he could just throw Wolverine into some void of space by breaking the fore field, and hurling him through the atmosphere

I agree, Thor vs Superman is a better fight. But Thor wouldn't have to send Wolverine into a void, he could just decapitate him and burn the remains. Wolverine can only heal as long as he is intact.

Jonathan Pepper there actually is a live action based on the same legend as 'Mulan', But it is an asian movie so if you don't like that, you probably won't enjoy it, I thought it was pretty good and it was kind of interesting to see the original story:)

Side note though? Thor. If we're going from the comics, and Manhattan is out of it for obvious reasons, Thor. Wolverine is the original Hulk Buster but Thor was MADE to be a hero to beat Hulk. Once Thor hits his Warrior's Madness and goes berserk, no one is safe. Even with his arrogance, or maybe because of his arrogance, he's always holding back. Once that's out the window, you can see what he can really do. He's outright stronger than the Hulk. He can keep up with Superman. Depending on which point you pick them, one may have the advantage over the other, at both character's peak, they're about even. The exception comes that Thor is magical. If he's not using direct magic, he's using magically enhanced abilities, including his already immense strength. Superman is screwed the moment he gets hit with Mjolnir. Unlike Captain Marvel or Shazam, who's all magically enhanced, Thor IS magic. Not to mention the full spectrum of his abilities is insane.

Thor in warriors madness is about equal to World Breaker Hulk and Thanos, but would get destroyed by heros like Chaos War Hercules, Franklin Richards, Mad Jim Jaspers, Molecule Man, etc.

Satan6455 Thor in Warrior's Madness is just him no longer holding back and unleashing. If you trying to compare him at his strongest, you need to go Rune King or when he has the full Odin Force and starts doing crazy stuff. Franklin and Molecule Man are out. Franklin isn't a fighter. He's a kid and he's constantly getting watered down more. Molecule Man doesn't really have the focus or strength of character to do it. I can't speak on CWH or MJJ. Don't know about them. But using those uber to the point of broken characters, like The Sentry, about what they COULD do with their abilities, but something they wouldn't do is pretty pointless. Point is, most of the power houses are world breakers at best, Thor is a star breaker and has no qualms of going to those limits.

***** Don't bring fan voted stuff into this, please. Superman has no defense against magic. Everything Thor does would just rock him. Like everything with Superman, they like to fluctuate how extensive it is (which him at times fighting with Kryptonite all around like it's nothing) but in a life or death situation, with Superman's cockiness, and Thor having no reason to restrain himself, Superman is done. Whether it be a 1v1 or just that you know everyone is gonna take him down first. Hunger Games are also in a dome. Hulk and Thor can just keep going because of how their bodies work. They don't need to draw on anything else. Superman would drain his solar reserves pretty fast fighting against either of them and he'd be screwed. I mean the guy is my favorite superhero. I like his story of trying to belong, but that doesn't mean I'd blindly say he'd always win like Batman fans. He'd lose to Thor, almost every time.

#7: I think the Disney movie I want to see most live action is Hunchback of Notre Dame. It's already a rather dark movie, so it doesn't need to be changed (nearly) at all to match with the gritty updates of these movies. It's perfect timing for it too, since the stage version of it has just recently come out.

I might get some hate for this, but... I think Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was the best third installment of a movie franchise. Why? 1. Gary Oldman. Point blank. 2. It had some pretty good twists in it. I mean, who the hell saw Sirius Black turn out to be Harry's godfather, and Peter Pedigrew being Ron's pet rat?! 3. It brought in a lot of new characters who later become such an important part of the series. I could go on for a little bit more about it still appealing to young children because it isn't as dark as the following movies, but I won't because I love the fact that the series turns in that direction.

Round 7: Definitely Mulan. First off, it's by far the most tangible Disney movie there is. You don't need a CGI magic kingdom, you don't need to worry about how to make a talking animal not seem ridiculous, and with the obvious exception of Mushu, there is nothing that couldn't physically be created, giving the movie a more grounded feeling that can help convey the bigger messages. Then, you have by far the most kick-ass disney princess that's ever been drawn. Mulan is a strong, confident, woman that became the hero of a male-dominated empire. Having an empowered woman front and center continues the wonderful momentum that was created by Frozen. And isn't it time that we got to see a minority woman star in an action movie? Beyond that, Mulan has some of the most memorable songs of any disney movie, and it would be a treat to hear them on the big screen again. Finally, from a business standpoint, Mulan would definitely play well over seas, because it is based on a well-known chinese legend and there isn't as much west-is-best undertones that can sometimes seep into disney movies.

He is acyually quite comedic and he would direct commentary towards both audiences. Annother point would be that he can't die and is a trained mercenary

I would love to see a live action donkey scene from Pinocchio. Make it controversially scary too so this way we remember that scene. Right there he won my vote. My personal choice was Brother Beat. Vacation. One man's decent into madness trying to have the best damn Christmas one can possibly have. It's not about finding/wanting that one gift, not about sitting on your thumbs waiting for Santa to do all the work, it's about a family man trying to have the Christmas he's always wanted. Christmas with the Kranks is a close second in that it's one couples dire struggle to abandon their cultist, hive-minded community in their obsessive and selfish plan to celebrate Christmas. Believe me, with a few adjustments that could be a very creepy movie with the subtle pokes at consumerism or some shit.

Comic Book Hunger Games NEEDS to be a thing. Here's who I would want to be in it. DC: Green Arrow, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Hawkman, Batman, Deathstroke, Katana, Poison Ivy, B'wana Beast, Cyborg Marvel: Captain America, Wolverine, Deadpool, The Hulk, Thor, Black Panther, Rogue, Spider-Man, The Punisher, M.O.D.O.K. (weird choice, but remember that arena is controlled by one giant machine, so a technopath would be the most dangerous)

Mario Manrique Wolverine would still be alive (Obviously) in any Hunger Games fight that he would be in. Thor would still be Thor, so he would still be worthy. & Hulk is unstoppable. He's Hulk. Case closed. These hunger games fights would not be following the way the characters are now in their own comics. They would just be themselves. So, Wolverine would still be alive, Thor would still be worthy, & Hulk is... Well, He's hulk. Have fun trying to kill him.

Wolverine would totally win. And that's not because Wolverine is my favorite super hero, it's because he's a survivor. He knows how to hunt; to live off the land. And he also can't die. I don't care what Marvel says, he can't die. He's survived rapid machine gun fire, drowning, burning, stabbing, nuclear bombing, and he once survived his entire body torn inside out by Magneto. I know someone will say "SHUT UP SAM SUPERMAN WINS CUZ HES SUPERMANNNN!" But the Game makers would probably use kryptonite traps for him....Wolverine doesn't have a weakness. Yeah, Wolverine would win The Hunger Games.

But why would wolverine agree to fight at all? Seems to me he'd just slash a big hole in the side of the stadium and waltz on over to Snow's office. The alien death arena scenario has played out many times in comics and it always ends badly for the moron who thought would be a good idea to capture a bunch of superpowered badasses and make them fight for his amusement.

***** No, Wolverine loses memory when something emotionally effects him. Like when he killed his dad on accident, or when he killed his girlfriend on accident, he loses those memories. His healing abilities are both physical and psychological. And his claws are made of adamantium, so is his entire body. So why does it matter if Deadpool has adamantium swords-Wait....Why are we arguing about something as stupid as the Super Hero Hunger Games?

For the Disney film, I want to see a live-action Winnie the Pooh. Just imagine no cartoony animals, but real live animals that don't talk. The story involves a little boy, a bear, an owl, a rabbit, a tiger, a kangaroo, a pig, and a donkey all encounter each other in the woods. Come the final scene, everybody has been killed and eaten by the bear or the tiger, and it is just down Tigger and Pooh. Will they fight or will they become the best of friends? All the animals deaths need to be shown like an actual wildlife documentary, with full-on blood and flesh-ripping. If my kids asked to go and see Winnie the Pooh, this is the film I would want to see. That would be awesome. Can you tell I'm actually not a fan of Pooh?

The best Disney movie to make into a live action movie would be The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The Disney movie actually didn't do the original Victor Hugo version justice. Having a hunchback who can actually scale the walls of the cathedral would be a great scene. Also I would love to see the dramatic love triangle between an attractive Esmerelda and captain Phoebus. Also there is a lot of great action there that can be huge. I would love to see a real life Court of Miracles and maybe a small glimpse into the gypsy life style. P.S. I wouldn't want this to be a musical. Nothing like Les Miserables. Just cuz they are both based on a victor Hugo book doesn't mean they should look or sound the same. P.P.S lets make this one rated PG13 and gear it more toward adults.

While this is a fun discussion topic, all arguments as to who would ultimately win are fairly pointless, and I blame it on the writers. All characters are only as invincible/omnipotent as they are written, and one can easily use other versions to give a favorite an advantage. Or if weaknesses are in play--such as Kryptonite--their effectiveness also depends upon the writer(s) as has been fairly evident throughout the years and various forms of media in which the characters appear. I'm leaning towards Deadpool or Dr. Fate for LOGICAL reasons, but I'd go with Batman for above stated reasons--Green Lantern Batman, anyone? Also loving your screen-name and profile pic. XD .

Wolverine winning? Hulk and Superman would stomp him. Rip him in pieces throw his parts across the whole arena in different directions. Superman actually has a suit that blocks out Kryptonite Radiation. How would they find Kryptonite? Lex Luthor wouldn't allow Superman to be killed. He wants to have that honor. Wolverine and Hulk need oxygen. Superman does not. Most heroes need food and water, Superman does not. So because no one can die. The people would probably try to suck the oxygen out of the arena. Wolverine and Hulk would faint which will make them appear dead and Superman would win. But in everyone else's defense. I think they are in a dome or something so Superman wouldn't have his full power. That's it. Don't bother responding. I don't care what you have to say.

There's a comic, Old Man Logan, where in the future, the Hulk is insanely giant and powerful. He defeats future Wolverine easily and eats him. But Wolverine doesn't freaking die, and ripped his way out of the Hulk's stomach. As for Superman, Wolverine could just get his skeleton retrofitted with Kryptonite instead of Adamantium :P

I have 4 kids ranging in ages 9-18, all tbeir lives so far whenever a reboot is comingg out of something im a fan of, I make my kids watch the originals i grew up with so they could share in my excitement. Like the new Transformers movies, the G.I Joe remake, the She Re Netfflix reboot, The Thing, etc. I know theirs hundreds more i just cant think of them right now.

thewishtofly Actually every aspect of martian manhunter is stronger than superman. His only weakness is fire and it depends on which versions of the comics too. Some the fire weakness is just pyrophobia and he eventually overcomes it and is practically a god. The big problem for him tho in this situation is that is much much more nice than superman so in this situation he would most likely eliminate himself.

Okay, here's my theory for the Super Hunger games: The normal human contestants will go after the super dudes, they have to, one on one against an almost immortal super being they stand no chance where as together they might find a weakness. Superman will fly off so as not to kill them. Hulk won't be able to control his anger and start murdering people, same for Wolverine. Superman will come back and throw Hulk and Wolverine into the sun to save what's left of the humans because he's a goody two shoes. He will then either be the winner because everyone else is dead or he'll leave the games to go after the organizers and the remaining humans will fight it out.

I stumbled onto this episode, and I'd like to throw in my two cents on 'The Hunger Games'. I'll admit that when I first heard of this, I kinda wrote it off an just another 'young adult' movie franchise aimed at girls that probably wouldn't interest me, and would get way too much hype for it's own good, but upon closer observation, I discovered that there's more to offer beneath the surface. It was actually about something more than just 'pandering romance', and while it may have some it that, it also satirized our 'reality show' obsessed culture. It also shows us the dangers of government overreach, the consequences of war, and the importance of freedom as best as a film of this genre can provide. Definitely a step up from your typical Disney Channel sitcom. Plus, this series has a genuinely good role model for young girls to admire, and that's a breath of fresh air in an age where Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, Bella Swan, and other questionable 'role models' are constantly celebrated in the media. I would almost call 'Hunger Games' the 'My Little Pony' of 'female young adult' movie franchises. Something that's broken the age, and gender barriers. Anyway, that's my two cents.

Mulan would be simply the best live action disney movie. It would be this non offensive, extremely baddass and kickass movie with these amazing action sequences. And you could get some amazing actors and actresses to play the roles, and even get eddie murphey to play the dragons voice again. As some other people, I would also go for Deadpool. Noone could provide more entertainment than him with funny lines and innovative executions of his opponents. Plus he is immortal, has great survival skills.Though can he be counter as superhero?? On debate Wolverine vs Superman. I think Wolverine would not have a clue what to do with shiny rocks that would come flying down. As I know Wolverine he is not a strategic fighter. If he would not know prior the games what is Superman's weakness, I doubt he would figure it out in time in the arena. Of the three mentioned I would go for Hulk.

And thus he would get more sponsors. Anyway I think he has some heroic elements to him, wasn't he in x-men and SHEILD? About Wolverine, I admit I went for his move and cartoon portrayals and he was not pictured as a very intelligent fighter. He just went into all caps rage and went into battle. A few comics I saw, also did not make him look very intelligent. I know wiki says he is, but so far I have not seen anything to prove that, if you can reference me to something, I would love it. God-Emperor of Mankind I read the books. And yes it was to keep districts in check, but also to keep the capitol people entertained. She got sponsors because of her "romantic" story. The more interesting the contestant the more he got. I could go on debating about this books, but I don't find youtube the place to do it. :) Personally I found the books plot a bit silly, still it was an ok-ish read. Haven't watched the movies and I doubt I will.

So first of all great episode today and also an outstanding performance on the Dan Cam. Most of the fights I felt were pretty good today except for the live action Disney movie one which sucked. The correct answer is Treasure Planet. First of all you have a cool futuristic setting plus a familiar adventure story since the story is based off of Treasure Island but you also have the chance to bring in a young up and coming actor to play Jim Hawkins and for Captain Flint bring in some badass black guy like Samuel Jackson. Anyways great show great fights looking forward to next weeks show.

Hunger Games movies are so overrated. I tried to watch the movie on Netflix and was so bored I had to shut it off. I went back to it, thinking I should give it another chance. Again, I was so fucking bored, but I finished it. My girlfriend sat with me through it and complained about the same problem. I bet the books are better, but I won't be reading them.

The books were better, and the first two movies were kinda boring, but and its a big but. Hunger games 3 part 1 is pretty awesome and it plays off the book more accurately and even enhances the best parts of the book. No spoilers but you should see the third movie even if you didn't finish the first two, much more action packed.

First almost all dc heroes are gone cos they refuse to kill, Second only mutants/metahumans would be able to fight at full power cos u start the hunger games with no weapons, Thor wounding have his hammer, batman no gadgets, iron man no armour. Thirdly all adult heros are out if the picture. The games are made up if tributes between 11 and 18. Unles s there's a twist cos of a quarter quell Finally., the hunger games defeats the point of being a hero, no hero is just gonna accept being put in an arena to kill 23 others, they would refuse to kill. Any hero doesn't wanna kill innocent children. Case Closed. There is no superhero who would win the hungergames. Stop worrying about how unkillable wolverine or hulk is and consider the actual rules and concept of the Hunger Games

Fox scenes in the trilogy, proto-steampunk gadgets courtesy Doc Brown, Clint Eastwood references, payoffs for all the running gags in the series, and the best train sequence in modern cinema. It's got all the comic brilliance of the first film, and it's a western. ...I wore my family's VHS copy out as a kid, for the train scenes alone and I'd do it again.

The Hulk vs Superman vs Wolverine fight - all of them are functionally unkillable - I see no compelling argument for any of them killing any of the others. Therefore it comes down to time IMO - Wolverine isn't just functionally unkillable - he doesn't age. The Hulk will die of old age eventually, as will Kryptonians eventually - but Wolverine? Wolverine will be flying around on hoverboards in the year 3000.

in the Hunger Games they always draw on the players weakness, and strengths. So in the arena there would be kryptonite. So Superman is a dead issue. He won't kill, and in the arena he can't escape, and there will be the one thing that can kill him. Now the Hulk? Once the Hulk goes full-blown Hulk , there is no weakness about him. All the other contenders are is trapped in that arena with the strongest, unstoppable and indestructible character available.

The hulk is not the most indestructible character, as they said it would be wolverine. It would not matter how many tries, how many times being ripped apart. Eventually he would get a chance to sink his adamantium claws into the hulks skull, which would be all it would take.

When I heard Disney Movie gone live action the first thing in my mind was recess. It was a great movie and show for me as a kid and I think that it could actually be a good live action movie for Disney.

Susan Dowling I was also thinking Mulan... Main reason is "LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS..." as you stated. Also, Shan Yu is a legit scary antagonist. The general plot is just great, the depiction of the horrors of war is exploitable... It just makes sense!

+Ezra Daßer in terms of the cure from X3, deadpool is not a mutant, so nothing would happen. And in a comic, deadpool was shot with something that cancels out his healing factor but it didn't work.

I'm a big fan of The Peanuts, I grew up reading that and Garfield. I think this is going to be an amazing flick- I think the music and the dogfight were to get the people in... It made it seem as though the fight was in Snoopy's, then back to a simple joke. I'm betting we can chop that up as a small daydream thing or at worst a running joke/side story.
