Since fans had no problem rioting over a McDonald’s sauce, we imagine that it’s only a matter of time before they take to the streets demanding season 4 of Rick and Morty. But while they wait for their favourite entertainment to come back to them, it’s a good time to study up, because there are a ton of Rick and Morty behind-the-scenes facts that they just might not know about. Like the previously mentioned Szechuan Sauce riots, or the fact that Jerry drives the same car as the Griswold family from National Lampoon’s Family Vacation. And yes, we think there’s a Chevy Chase connection in there somewhere. How about how Bryan Cranston could have been the voice of Jerry, Justin Roiland wrote “Get Schwifty” when he was a kid and then built the episode around it, the show has only passed the TV-14 rating twice in its sordid history, and Rick and Morty might actually share a universe or two with Futurama! The Pickle Rick episode was inspired by an episode of Breaking Bad, you can actually play Jerry’s balloon popping game for real, Community definitely has some tie-ins with Rick and Morty, the pilot was written in only 6 hours on the same day the the show was sold, Rick’s catchiest catchphrase was actually an accident, we wouldn’t have Rick and Morty if we hadn’t lost Community, and Bill Cosby inadvertently has some involvement with the creation of our favourite cartoon! All these and more make up some of the wildest behind the scenes details about Rick and Morty!

I've seen people hooked on fentanyl hate this show because it appeals to the smug know-it-all reddit user. You must deep down think you're 'better than'. I have always assumed that the Rick and Morty from the pilot was not C-137 Rick and Morty. We watch a different set die from the nutrino bomb and Morty didn’t actually disarm the first bomb at all.

Theory: The real reason Rick says “Wubba Lubba Dubdub is that he knows he’s on TV. The fact he’s not in control his own universe doesn’t take well to Rick, so he needs the audience to know what they’re doing by watching. Rick usually says this after doing something objectively funny or awesome. He knows how the audience will react and is secretly shaming us for laughing.

Rick definitely loves Morty, and struggles with it because he believes that nothing truly matters. At the end of the day, he's a human being. He has emotions. Feels joy, feels pain, love and hate. Rick struggles with the duality of being human and also being too smart.

Your forgetting when Rick says hes the rickest Rick and Morty is the Mortyest Morty as far as seeing Morty as a baby hes a genius I dont doubt he can have constant eyes on his family. Also dont forget about mind blowers EP he can erase ppls memories and add to them easly he could have done certain things to protect his family. Hes the Rick who has a certain ammount of emotional ties to his family as his others says when hes strapped to the chair he said hes the most irrational Rick showing he uses emotion as well, hes in the middle most the balanced of the Rick's as he is depressed and everything because he plays at being a socialpath to make up for the worse Rick's showing he has the capacity to do bad things but dosent like it. Even if hes not around I'm sure he decides to help or not even if they wouldnt know. But Rick had to find the Morty that matched his specific brain waves so who can really say. It took all those Mortys to hide a Rick because he no longer has his specific Morty.

Like, if you can't even keep the MAIN CHARACTERS straight, you seriously don't watch the show. Especially when you write a script to read off of while you record for a KZfaq video. If Morty was to grow up to be a Rick then they wouldn't give Morty a round head and Rick a square head. His head wouldn't change shape as he got older. Rick's head is still the same shape as it is now in the photograph of him holding baby Morty on Birdperson's wall. The creators wouldn't miss a detail like that.

I think the most likely reason for Rick to remove all memories of him for more than 10 years is that he used those 10 years to theorize, prove and convince his family that they were all a part of a TV show, and finally realized that this truth is something he must live with by himself.

"Calumnia" means "false accusation", so "sis semper calumniam" does in no way mean "may you always be wrong", but is probably intended to mean "may you always be falsely accused". But in fact it translates to "may you always be a false accusation" proving that neither the creators of "Rick & Morty" nor of ScreenRant videos have their Latin straight. Oh, and by the way: "You are always wrong" is a complete miss (wrong grammatical mood). "You are" in Latin is "es", not "sis".

"Sis semper calumniam" is a parody of "Sic semper tyrannis", meaning "Thus always to tyrants.", supposedly spoken by Brutus at the assassination of Julius Caesar and also spoken by John Wilkes Booth after he shot Abraham Lincoln. Rather than being literally the Latin word "sis", (if there is such a word), in a world dominated by women, it is just a pun, using the word "sis" (as in sister) instead of "sic". It would be as if in a world dominated by men, someone were to say "cogito erg-bro sum" instead of "cogito ergo sum".

@@Brainee444 My point is that it's NOT proper Latin. It's a parody of Latin. Basically it's an English pun on Latin. The Latin word being parodied is "sic". The English word is "sis". I'm not sure there actually is a Latin word "sis", unless it's spelled slightly different (like cis for example). When I looked up "sis" in various Latin dictionaries, I found very similar words, but none with that exact spelling.

Every time these videos talk about time travel, they always forget to mention that rick time traveled in the episode where he and Morty get mega fruit seeds. When he went to the alt universe to find the broken leg serum he spent "alot of time, with alot of young ladies." Yet morty was only on the ground in agony for a few seconds. Just sayin, step it up youtube creators.

@@karaavery1599 thats not how it works. In the show, the alt or parallel universe's exist with the same time constant. Its only within an individual universe (miniverse or exoverse) time would have dilation. And if that were the case in this episode, we would assume it would be mentioned since the subject gets brought up so much in the show itself. If not mentioned then then at least implied. But Rick only mentions his portal gun. No time crystals. No chamber. Nothing about Slowmobius doing it right. Rick explains his inventions or sifi hardware every chance he gets. So why would we assume otherwise?

Here's a shitpost for you. What if rick c-137 is actually rick c-137's original Morty? Maybe he is covering for evil Morty, who is the younger version of the real Rick c-137, so he can take down the citadel before they cause some sort of inter-dimensional calamity. Perhaps the real reason why they won't explore time travel, as well as why rick has a box of time travel stuff, is because he is already on an extended time travel mission to save the future!

My additions to this theory are that, rick was always around and because he says in one episode if he came home without summer or morty Beth would never forgive him, so when he lost his original morty (thinking him to be dead) he gets a new morty an erases the family's memory's (including mortys) so that none of them realize that morty was ever replaced including the new morty, then the original morty who survived becomes "evil morty"

Okay... Now i got this. The "time travel stuff" box is on the shelve because rick already used it to jump 20 years in the future so he can go on adventures with Morty. The fact that he knows how a baby Morty look like is that he skipped some years, he didn't jumped to the perfect moment, he found it. I don't know, but it seems logic to me.

An episode exploring a Bootstrap Paradox being the originating lore of the Rick & Morty partnership will probably be a thing before the show ends. E.g. Rick is the result of a time paradox where Morty is Rick and the reason for himself, Jerry is his father, Beth is his daughter and mom, Summer his sister and granddaughter. Rick has already experienced versions of events via memory from when he was in the Morty phase of his life and is forced to take himself under his wing for reasons to be explored... But it does put untold constraints on the expanding lore if committed to screen.
