I like to think that Evil Morty is the same Morty we see in the show, who eventually gets so tired of Rick's bullying/controlling of Morty that he just snaps, kills Rick and then uses some kind of time travel device to go back in time, kill all Rick's and make all Morty's like him. And when Evil Morty meets his past self, he tries to make him more evil, faster. My evidence is that, ever since Evil Morty was introduced, normal Morty has been getting more and more rebellious, confident, smart, and has stopped putting up with Rick's bullshit. This could be normal Morty taking the first step towards becoming Evil Morty.

Evil Morty isn't a robot. He gets shot and you see him bleed. Cyborg yeah, robot no.

You didn't mention or show the abandoned Morty of the opening sequence of Morty tripping while chased by monsters, Rick opening a portal and jumping through, leaving Morty behind as the portal closes, and the monsters seemingly about to jump on the abandoned Morty. - Where does this fit in to Evil Morty I wonder>?

One of my theories is that Evil Morty is the Rickest Morty since when the officer saw the evil Rick robot said that he has seen the technology before , so it was probably one of his technologies.

New theory: What if evil Morty was a robot built by the galactic government?

Evil Morty is actually the first robot created by an "unknown" Rick after his original Morty died. "Unknown" Rick put all his Morty's memories into the new Robo-Morty not knowing that his real Morty kinda resented him but never had the guts to say so and then after Robo-Morty realized that his original was simply tossed and replaced he killed Rick in a rage. He took some time to come to grips with just killing Rick (he was also kinda programmed to love Rick but that code got currupted) he decided to end them all.

I think the goal of Evil Morty is to end all the adventures of Rick and Morty once and for all, because when he was answering the questions in the election for president, he said that he and his Rick have already changed reality so many times that he he doesn't remember, which leads us to believe that he has seen Rick cause huge chaotic events many times. With Evil Morty becoming the president of the Citadel, he would have better control over all the Ricks, except the Rick C-137, which leads us to think that in the future the 2 might get into some kind of conflict

I liked the memory theory about how summer created evil Morty, I wish the creators had explained or showed us what the green memories were. Because maybe the green ones are memories of going on the “adventures” with summer 🤔

My vote? Evil morty is the droid that “wanted to live” and engaged “protocol override” during the episode in which morty summer and Rick go to the dystopian version of earth.. I like the theory of how Evil Morty is Rick's original Morty. It makes sense, because there are images of Rick with a very young and baby Morty. I don't think that it's too far-fetched. And, yeah. I think that Evil Morty is just a cyborg.

My theory about Evil Morty is that he is doing all this just to get all the power he can so he can find his original rick because he misses him..

Season 3, episode 1, 21:40 - rick says his family was killed and "that was fate". If evil morty was originally with Rick c137, perhaps he killed the rest of the family and Rick came to this dimension to replace his family. Maybe he doesn't know that evil morty is still alive or he just doesn't know how to save/destroy him.

Evil Morty hated himself so decided to drink a potion that would make him popular and forget about being Evil. This turned the original Morty in Jessica. Seeing this, Rick made a clone of evil Morty so he could have his grandson back. But he needed a tool some one who would do his bidding while evil Morty was the counter balance to the infinite multiverse. Thus the current Morty that goes on adventures with Rick is a clone while the original Evil Morty enjoys a charmed and shallow life under a new identity. the last theory is correct, I have a seirous proof. In Pocket Mortys, if we look at the stats of our original Morty, we can see his dimension-no. is C-530! Our Rick is from dimension C-137 so this means Evil Morty is original Rick's abondoned Morty.(Pocket Mortys is made by adult swim btw)

Most people say Evil Morty is smarter than regular Morties, I disagree. We’ve seen Morty disarm a neutron bomb, and take several people with Rick’s gadgets on his own, with precision. I think Evil Morty has more experience, and lost his self doubt. Both of the instances mentioned happened when he was pushed or motivated by something. Morty could be as dangerous as Evil Morty, all he needs is the motivation to do so.

Y'all forgot about Slow Rick/ Tall Morty from Tales of the Citadel

To develop a theory it is important to look at it from a literary standpoint. We need to think of possibilities that fit within the already established parameters of the show. Many of the theories talked about in this video propose equally plausible pathways that the writers could take.

I think Evil Morty is Slick Morty from Ricklantis Mixup. A disillusioned Morty who's been through five Ricks. Part of a line of Morty's with an experimental drama implant. Leads the way to the wishing portal (garbage portal) wishes that anything would change and jumps in despite saying the portal won't grant wishes and goes who knows where. Glasses Morty's wish for incest porn to develop more mainstream appeal is obviously working and great changes occur to life in the citadel so did his wish come true or did he come back as Evil Morty? Waiting to see if Evil Morty rolls up his sleeves.

Maybe Rick raises Morty because Morty grows up to be Rick and by this process he passes on his knowledge to himself while also achieving a certain immortality by doing this process. This also plays along with my theory that evil Morty wants to kill off all bad/evil Ricks and through this process all Mortys who have Ricks will have a positive role model to look up too. What if Morty c-137 is Evil Morty before he was evil? Basically Rick messed up Morty so he turned evil, Rick abandoned him and went to a dimension where he could fix his mistakes and make Morty not evil. Morty already has evil tendencies seeing as he went crazy on purge night, and even shot Rick in the head with a fake gun, which he thought was real.

I like Evil Morty. I hope they do more Evil Morty episodes in the future, after he murdered the different Rick's & talked about how now is the time for action I want to see what he's up to. I also want Rick & his/alternate Morty to come Face-To-face with Evil Morty 😈
