Scuba Diving The Northampton Bridge In the Delaware River (Free Bridge)

Күн бұрынWe went scuba diving in the Delaware River under the Northampton Bridge. Also known as the Free Bridge between Easton, Pennsylvania and Phillipsburg, New Jersey. This was unkown territory to us so we took the dive real slow and easy so there wasn't any foul ups or problems. Found some huge catfish, a battery charger for a car, fishing gear, and awesome views of the bridge underwater and what lies below. My friend and I dove down there in the early 80's. You got lucky with the water being so clear.

Lived in Nazareth since 2009 and I go fishing there all the time. I’ve always wondered what was down there. Great video thank you!

Moved to nazareth in 2019. Still mostly fish the Poconos where I was born and raised. Is this the bridge between Easton and P-burg?

I live on the delware. Between 2 bridges Columbia Portland n. Belvidere bridges. I have 86 ft in Mt bethel

Very cool! What camera did you use down there? I liked your choice of music and that you didn't let it dominate the sound. I liked hearing the air bubbles. The colors were vivid. What was that bright green stuff growing? Algae?

Go pro hero 7 and hero 6. I produced the music, and the log had some kind of algae I’m not sure. But most of all I’m very happy you enjoyed the video.

Matt. I'm planning on diving that exact area soon. What was the current, visibility, and depth like around the boat launch area.

I read that those catfish can live up to 60 years. I could be wrong though.
