On the healing bench for repair this time is another SCUF Reflex FPS. As usual it has drift / jitter on the analog sticks. This is how we go about fixing this issue.

how do you connect the game pad tester just to the naked board? I tried, but I am only able to get a connection with the battery plugged in and the board in the front shell

@@Wappie21calibrates the sticks to reach 100% all around and be within 2% in the middle I believe. U just gotta play with the little tabs around the stick

Thank you. Yeah both irons have been very good purchases. The KSGER is still going strong since 2018 with (literally) thousands of hours on it!

When you calibrate the sticks, are you just twisting the plastic shaft? Does it not return to its original position after time?

Got a scuf reflex fps a month ago,ignored all the claims about the remotes and got one anyway, my l2 button has began an irregular clicking pattern sometimes it will respond to the click sometimes it will not. Any fixes?

What's the price on this, my right stick keeps turning when I move it left or right and if I don't touch it it'll slide to the left slowly than pick up speed till max turn speed

Hey boss! I followed everything in the video to the T, but now the scuf paddles aren’t responsive, the light for the remap isn’t on either to tell me that the scuf part is working. Everything is soldered and I went back and even tried resoldering but nothing…. Any thoughts?

13:18 check if that part is on correctly and I don’t mean the solder but the ribbon cable might not be lined up properly with the holes in the board and so the scuf paddles aren’t getting powered properly it might be that or the ribbon cable is fried

I have ps5 controller and it’s got the same issue 😂 am thinking of getting the Victrix as you could possibly just replace the analog

We recently replaced an analog in a Victrix module. They use the same ALPS analogs.

Literally get more stick drift than the normal controllers

It takes a few extra seconds to add low melt solder to the joints for easier removal of the sticks.

NO!! Don't use low melt solder for high stress joints!! Bad advice!! Leaded solder yes.. Nothing containing Bismuth!!

260 dollar controller and it’s a piece of shit got horrible stick drift in a few weeks of having it

We do try to mittigate the stick drift from coming back. We have controllers out there from repeat customers over two years a go and no stick drift happening for them.

@@UberMicroRepairs nah i don't think so if you re-install the exact same component the wear will be the same, i've tested replacement sticks by now and they all either have problems right away or reappear after months or a year of intensive use. Only Hall effect is good, and lasts much longer.

@@Shisizuwa I do think so, because I have alot of repeat customers and we always ask how previous repairs are holding up. We have alot of competative gamers sending multiple controllers in all year round. So yeah... When we install new sticks .. They last!
