Hi Alistair! Thank you for the review! I am about to sleep below zero (Celsius) in a Sea to Summit Comfort Plus like yours. Pro tip: don't blow air from your lungs inside the mat, specially in freezing temperatures. You are pushing highly humid air inside the mat. Worst case scenario, you get ice inside it, right under you. Best option, you get the insulating fibers wet. Either one, not good :-) Greetings from Sweden!

thank you. If you blow in too the sack from a inch away, it will fill much more up, because the air can circulate.

Just fyi. you dont need to take small breathes into the bag. you can take 1 big one if you blow about 2~3 away from the bag. The force of the air will create a vacuum to suck in external air as well. so you dont need to take 3 small breathes

Wasn’t the whole point of a blow sack to not blow air of your longs inside because of moisture?

Hey Alastair great review! I actually just ordered this pad. Just a tip to inflate faster, the pump sacks will inflate better if you blow into them with your mouth about 15 to 30 cm away from the bag. That will help to pull in the surrounding air into the bag using Bernoulli's principle of fluid dynamics. I just thought I try to make it easier for you, but again.. Great review!

@@aliM-cd4eu Got mine in size small. It packs really easily in the sack it came with, plus that one has a double valve (for both the mat and a pillow). I blew it up super easy and fast without using my breath, just moving the bag. Packed the mat is much longer and somewhat heavier than the specifications, but I am ok with that. Comfort wise and noise wise the Exped Downmats could be better, but they tend to be more expensive (with comparable features like R value and weight).
