You can either use slide notes in the piano roll by double clicking on the note and selecting "slide" or you can go into the channel settings window from the sequencer, select "misc" and enable mono and slide there.

Try saving the file on your disk and then loading it into Harmor manually. Click on the arrow on the upper left of the IMG section and select "analyze audio file"

If you mean a general setting that makes all notes behave like that, if you click on the channel settings window from the sequencer (not the plugin window) under "misc" there are mono and porta controls with glide speed.

Mess around with the "sharpness" knob when the sound starts to crop up. Lower sharpness settings (middle position being zero) result in the sound being attenuated somewhat but with other side effects. The sound is a result of phase cancellation or amplification when the unison effects get stacked. there's a way to avoid that by being careful what unison settings you use, but it tends to get very unwieldy.

in the envelope windows click on "step" on the lower right. This will turn on the draw mode where clicking draws in and right clicking removes. Turn step off to edit individual points.

That effect is part of the reason why I rarely use the whole unedited sample when I'm done with the process. A few ways to counteract that include automating the pitch of the unison, turning up the sharpness knob, setting the prism effect to trigger with harmonic level. One of the ways I tried before was reversing the sample for every step.

Make sure you are clicking on the button that I am when I drag the files. That is where the click and drag function comes from. The spectrum/waveform view that I'm using is just a view setting that you can set by right clicking the main window, selecting "view" and "dual view"

Usually I keep it mono the whole time. Harmor will only actually do mono in resynthesis anyway unless you do very specific setup. If I want stereo effects I do them all post. Or at the very last resample step using the distortion FX "asymetry" setting.

I have tried a myriad of other recording software. It's really not FRAPS' fault. I'm running out of hd space and I'm also recording audio through FL. So things are easily busted. Most of the other ones I've tried (including camtasia) have busted harder, and faster ;p

You need to have "on play" selected next to the record button on edison. Set that, hit record, and then play the loop in the playlist.

Seamless, you can also just slap the Edison on the preserved "Selected" channel (to the right of Send 4), which is a sort of meta mixer channel. I usually put a wave candy and/or edison on there for analyzing and recording stuff.

Well i use ableton too, and Operator and Sytrus just aren't mono synths imo... so i have no clue. But since Sytrus is native (built into fl), fl has it's own way of making it slide. Now, i haven't tried this but: try and mess around with the pitch bend on the sytrus, might be able to get some similar results

HOWEVER, im using Ableton with FL VSTs. Ive tried adjusting the clip envelope settings to turn portamento on/off and tried adjusting the portamento time under the midi properties and i get no results. ableton typically relies on the vst to implent the portamento setting like in massive or the operator. any suggestions?

i am doing exactly the same, but harmor is just not accepting the sound file from the edison...

I followed all the quality instructions but no matter what i lose width and volume slightly when i record and put it back into harmor. It's not edison either, the sample in edison is the exact same as the sound im getting from sytrus its so frustrating....

Do I need edison to import? seams like I cant drag it into harmor without edison..

no harmless cant use samples, tbh your better off dragging the audio file from edison to the sampler, not really sure why seamless does it in harmor bcoz its mono.. unless u drag the left and right channels seperate and use the "A" and "B" parts in harmor which takes even longer.
