Indeed🙂 love the bond thats brewing in season 5! Hopefully we get to see more of that in the next season? Like Johnny facing new challenges with a newborn. More Chozen & def more mike This is what im saying i know they will face new challenges and new bad guys. I wanna see them team up again

The ONLY thing I disagreed with was him just getting knocked out from behind. He deserved a bit more screen time fighting along side Johnny at least.

I wanted Daniel to overcome his fears vs Barnes and win. I’m sure the new secret techniques Chozen taught him will help defeat Barnes

@@willn8664 From what I've heard, that was a scheduling issue. Sean already had quite a few other projects on production and didn't have enough time to rehearse the choreographies, otherwise, you can be sure the big 3 would have loved to give him more screentime (and fight).

I hope he returns in Season 6. It’d be awesome if he got promoted to series regular.

And he should have sided with Silver. It's was Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, Barnes and Kreese vs Silver.

Yeah my mom is saying the same thing I am believe it or not, He's been on her soap opera, Bold and the Beautiful for the last 10 years which is hilarious as it is the exact opposite as his character Mike Barnes.

He arguably deserves a special TYPE of respect (I do not want to say MORE respect, respect is not something you can quantify exactly like wattage in a light bulb) that very few if any other actors have gotten. It was A LOT that he was able to do that role AT ALL because he was in the hospital recovering from an almost fatal injury and he was not fully recovered from surgery and he disobeyed his doctors by leaving the hospital early and leaving the hospital AT ALL was a huge health risk and on top of that he did ALMOST ALL OF HIS OWN STUNTS which is rare even for a perfectly healthy actor who did not get badly hurt. The ONLY stunt he refused to do was almost getting hit by a train for fear of getting killed by a train but ALL of the fighting and action other than that was with NO STUNT DOUBLE. It is rare for an actor to do all or almost all of their own stunts and it is rare for an actor who is badly hurt and not fully recovered from surgery to leave the hospital early and risk their health and he did BOTH of those "rare" things AT THE EXACT SAME TIME.

@@gorgo5418 I wish that he had done some action adventure movies as a martial artist back in the early 1990s as characters who are technically NOT Mike Barnes but look like him (due to being same actor) and have about the same level of martial arts ability as Mike Barnes but as a good guy (similar to how in the first 2 Shootfighter movies Bolo Yeung was "Shingo" and about equal to Chong Li in fighting ability but was a good guy).

That actor should have gotten roles as a HERO in action adventure movies back then too. Imagine a GOOD GUY with the same ABILITIES as Mike Barnes but NOT the same character.

The actor has been trying to get back into this show desperately for over 2 years and he has been going nuts in the gym so that he could reprise his role as a badass. He has an awesome physique for his age and is stronger than the Chozen and Johnny actors now even if he was not back in 1989. He is BUFFED.

@@Zurround I just hope they bring Sean back as a regular in season 6, which has been confirmed. I really like him.

@@Sarasdad91 Me too. I am a tad sad that he was not brought back as a VILLAIN though. I think he would have been better as a main villain since Silver and Kreese have kind of run their course and he could be the next top dog.

His position is same as Daniel's now. Like Daniel owns a car showroom, Barnes owns a furniture store. I don't know if he is married though

@@crashpal He is, he mentions that his shop was originally his wife's dad's. And in the last episode, after venting to Daniel about how his shop was burned down, you can see him breakdown when he mentions his wife, who must have been traumatized to see the legacy of her father getting burnt to ashes.

he was pretty unhinged during the final fights lol, he literally 1 shot those 2 senseis johnny had been fighting with instantly. I was hoping johnny would say something like, this is the angriest badass ive ever seen.

The part he charged Chozen extra bucks for the Sofa was hilarious too xD

He’s a better person than Johnny Lawrence

I feel giving them a year makes good sense 👌 👏. The story is fresher

Let's not forget that by the time KK3 was shot, he was 28.

The guy who plays Kyler is 32.

The only villain left are Ned Randall and Col. Dugan (Michael Ironsides) from KK4. Since the writers did a much better job with Silver and Chosen, maybe they could find some way to incorporate Julie (Hillary Swank) and either Dugan and or Ned - and actually make it good. Julie, who suffered from anger issues, could appear in one episode talking to the students about how karate and Mr. Miyagi changed her life.

@@jamesrawlins735 Absolutely agree with you there James. I would love to see Hillary and Michael come back. Hillary Swank's character Julie would be perfect to tangle with Kim Da-Eun (female sensei for Cobra Kai.)

Johnny would stand no chance against Mike. Mike might be able to beat Silver and Chozen. AS badass as Johnny may be he is NOT the level of PRODIGY that Mike Barnes was.

@@Zurround I don't think mike would beat Chozen or silver, but definitely johnny, however I might be wrong about Mike vs Chozen, we'll just have to wait to see in a few hours

Yeah, fr, Johnny was the high school bully type but I thought Mike Barnes was really going to murder Daniel. He was so intense and off the rails.

Mike Barnes looks more handsome than Johnny Lawrence as teenager

Sometimes a movie can be bad overall but still have a few really cool characters portrayed by really good actors. For example STAR WARS is superior to its "wannabe" BATTLESTAR GALACTICA in almost every aspect BUT Dirk Benedict and Richard Hatch had more charsima as Starbuck and Apollo than most of the Star Wars characters had.

The best part of KK3 was when Miyagi fights Kreese and Silver! That was impressive!

KK3 was indeed weaker than the first 2 movies but guess what? 30+ years later down the road, KK3 gave the best plot into Cobra Kai. The way they enhanced the story around everyone just makes KK3 was a good movie overall.

I always enjoyed Karate Kid Part 3 even though many people didn't like it. I always loved the original Terry Silver from part 3, LOL...I always thought about the wood, lol

Same here. I wanted a more in depth look into those events. Also, who was he before KK3? Why was he so filled with rage? What happened with his other henchmen Dennis and Snake after he lost to Daniel in KK3? Hoping this gets explored in season 6.

He is actually STRONGER now than he was in 1989. He was kind of lanky then though even then he had a streamlined musculature and was certainly stronger than Ralph Macchio (which does not prove much really) but he worked out so hard in the gym over the past 2 years that in an arm wrestling match 2022 Sean Kanan would easily beat 1989 Sean Kanan.
