Tennis balls are xanthic. Xanthic (also called xanthum in the UK, I found out) is a shade of yellow so saturated it can catch and appear to absorb light from other objects, creating an effect where people view xanthic colored things as green-yellow, green, or yellow. It's also one of the colors colorblind people struggle with the most, as the high saturation is hard for eyes with weaker cones to process, so this is 100% out of Sean's hands. God is trolling him. Edit: someone in the replies mentioned it's hard for visually impaired people to see, so I looked it up. Turns out if your optic nerve is damaged, high-saturation colors like xanthic/xanthum can stop registering as distinct from the background.

Guys, once you open your ketchup please put it in the fridge. It’s not in the refrigerated section in stores because it’s sealed from outside air preventing oxygen and contaminants from entering the bottle. But once it’s opened it is no longer protected and will go bad way before the expiration date if left out. Hence why you put it in the fridge. It prevents any germs that enter your ketchup from multiplying too quickly. There’s a reason most sealed foods/condiments say refrigerate after opening.

My biggest issue with SORA AI is in court cases Someone could accuse you of a crime and provide an AI generated video of you committing said crime And eventually it’s going to look so convincing that you just can’t argue against it Innocent people could be imprisoned for something they never did, by people they’ve never met It could also be used to cover someone’s tracks as a “well I was over in that place when they died so it couldn’t have been me” and it’s just an AI video of them in a bar Either they need to completely stop development of AI Have it extremely restricted Or laws need to be put in place fast

The thing about the vitamin d and milk is actually true! Your body needs vitamin d to help process the calcium otherwise your body diesnt really do much with it.. Not only that calcium is stored in your bones and whenever your body needs it, it will take it out and use it! Which is why big milk was pushing for people to drink milk which is actually a good idea! Around our mid 20s your bones will completely calcify and your body will no longer be able to store the calcium there but it will continue to take! Which is why some conditions like arthritis happens..so taking a calcium supplement and getting your vitamin d is super important!

I would like to add that in places that have native sea turtles (in the US, at least), there are recurring baby sea turtle releases during the summer that the local public can participate in (kind of how Ethan described it in the video), which is both free and actually very helpful to marine biology conservation. Obviously, the public is a relative distance from the turtles, and it's a less personable experience, but it is still great fun. (Source: I grew up where the local wildlife conservation did this, and this is how I spent many summer mornings during childhood.)

Also, on the "how do cows know to stop drinking milk?" The weaning process often begins when the mother cow starts to reduce her milk production or becomes less receptive to the calf's attempts to nurse. This signals to the calf that it's time to start exploring and consuming other food sources.

The standard color of a tennis ball is typically yellow or yellow-green. The outer felt covering of a tennis ball is usually a bright shade of yellow, which aids in visibility against various backgrounds and helps players keep track of the ball during a match. However, tennis balls can also be found in other colors like orange, red, or white, which serve specific purposes such as training, recreational play, or adapting to different court surfaces. Dairy person here, I got so excited hearing y'all talk about cows. But yes cows do, and can drink off of each other. But it becomes a problem if they do it constantly. Because babies don't have teeth, and adult cows have bottom teeth. You also can get bit by a cow. But not the way you think, I've had to give medicine to cows, and like a cat you have to put it kind of down their throat so they don't spit it out. One time I just use my arm to put it in there all the way as you need to get fully in the throat cuz cows are really good at regurgitating because they chew their cud. They have incisors in the back of their mouth that can, and will ruin your morning. I've also been thrown by cows just by their heads when I'm trying to give them medicine, and they whip their heads around, and can get under you.

We started freezing our bread too. It's just my husband and I and the bread would always go bad before we could finish the loaf. Nuke it for 15 seconds makes it soft again. Or toast it like normal. I found out that freezing it reduces calories too. Toasting reduced the calories even more. "Take all that unused, mass-produced bread - the 24 million slices we chuck away everyday - and pop them in the freezer. Why? Because just like cooking and cooling, freezing also turns starch into resistant starch. Amazingly, this means that your body gets far fewer calories from the bread. In effect, the resistant starch feeds your gut bacteria, rather than feeding you." - BBC Studies also done by NIH in America.

for the fridged bread convo: i have very forgetful adhd and very quick changing food fixations and moods too so sometimes when i have a loaf or several rolls of bread, i sit them out on the counter (still in their bag, thin plastic from the store deli section or i repackage them in a better sealed ziplock) if i know im going to use them once or several times a day. but if it's particularly humid in SoCal where i am (and we don't have air conditioning) we ABSOLUTELY have to refrigerate our bread or it goes moldy pretty quick. tip: if you run into an issue of condensation when putting bagged bread in your refrigerator, try leaving a bit of the bag open to negate that from happening. in the long run, the bread will still stale eventually but for myself at least, i use my bread rolls daily, it's not noticeable for me.

Yes, milk is often associated with promoting strong bones. Milk is a good source of calcium, which is an essential mineral for building and maintaining strong bones. Calcium is a major component of bone tissue, and it plays a vital role in bone formation and structure. Consuming an adequate amount of calcium is important for bone health, especially during childhood and adolescence when bones are still growing. Calcium helps in the development of peak bone mass, which is the maximum amount of bone a person can have and is a critical factor in determining bone health later in life. In addition to calcium, milk also provides other nutrients that contribute to bone health, such as vitamin D and phosphorus. Vitamin D is essential for the absorption of calcium from the intestines, while phosphorus works together with calcium to build strong bones and teeth.

Hi. Microbiologist here and host for a thrush infection about a few years ago here to tell you about facts no one asked for but i like science so here you go. As explained in the episode, thrush is a yeast. Yeast is normally part of our oral flora (meaning our mouth bacteria. Our mouths are full of helpful bacteria that break down food, and yeast just kinda hangs out in there naturally). However, when something disrupts our oral flora, like use of antibiotics (this just happens, nothing to be afraid of as long as you make sure to eat healthy while taking antibiotics) or disease, or something of that nature, yeast goes YIPPEE more space! And grows out of control, causing infection. Since most yeast species are Candida (can-did-uh. Not can-deed-uh), like Candida albicans (a very common yeast), this is why thrush is called candidiasis. The best remedy for a thrush infection is something that will replenish that sweet succulent mouth bacteria so... That means yogurt! Now, while most yogurt bacteria is usually good for your gut, a lot of the flora overlap since...y'know...things from your mouth go into your gut. So eat yogurt and drink plenty of fluids!

9:25 For most mamals, they're far enough along in development to have the brain capacity to stand up or move or etc. But for humans, our heads are essentially too big to fit through at around the same development point, and so to compensate, humans started giving birth earlier on on the development cycle when the child is smaller and easier and safer to. However the cost of this is being born with much earlier brain development, and thus human babies have to take time outside the womb growing before their brain has the capacity to crawl or stand or walk

1:18:01 For Halloween last year (2023) I actually did something like this. I wore a high-visibility vest and high-visibility pants with a gas mask as a makeshift hazmat-esque outfit. I was shocked that I didn’t get in trouble for wearing full neon chartreuse throughout the entire day in school.

Your discussion on AI presented some good points that I hadn't considered before, and moving forward I plan to look at the situation with more nuance.

eggs that are store bought (processed? or?? idk the word) are ment to be in the frigde, but freshly laid eggs have that coating to protect them so you can leave them on the counter if your house is nice and cool (temp not sick cool)

As long as the spider isn't where I sleep or prepare food I kind of just leave them, they help with other bugs that I like less. I don't like spiders but I can co-exist with them

To answer some of your questions about milk and cows: 1: Some milk has vitamin D added into it so it does actually help with the calcium building in bones 2: Calves tend to be naturally weaned off of the milk supply, but at a lot of dairies the calves are taken away from their mothers and manually fed before that would happen

Depends on where you live in the u.s. if you live in a place with hurricanes, then you get a concrete house that's hard to knock over.(if it's new) Ect.

Yellow mixed with Green is a color people rarely heard of called Chartreuse. My epilepsy started at 9 months old, seizures stopped when I was a teenager, then returned when I was in my early 20's. "Get Mike Hunt on the line." 🤣😂🤣☠️💀☠️💀☠️
