The search for a Chicago woman who went missing in the Bahamas has intensified as the woman’s family has arrived on the island for the search efforts. NBC Chicago’s Lexi Sutter reports.

Yes they should get a private investigator, and there really is a need to be concerned about being in some places in Nassau Bahamas right now, because also, they have such an illegal migration problem that they are trying to deal with. Even the local Bahamians there are worried, and upset at the government for letting it get so far. This is a country that at one time a study showed that seventy five percent of its crimes were not committed by the Bahamians, and now it's really out of hand, with also many people there claim to be Bahamian but are not. But let's pray she comes back safely.

The FBI should be investigating and have custody of all said belongings . Hmmm, the people of the yoga retreat are not forthcoming nor is the Bahamas government. That crazy. Someone knows and seen something. That yoga retreat needs to come to a stop. If one of your participants has disappeared I am not continuing the classes. Its can clearly happen to anyone else in the group.

Put the heat on the US embassy and the yoga retreat. What stuck out to me is that the retreat offers tent lodgings. I would not recommend staying on a tent on a beach in some foreign countries. You need safety precautions and what safety precautions did the yoga place offer? Shame on them for this. The retreat may be held liable for this for offering this. On other hand, in Bahamas not sure of the laws and also they could pay off police and government if the retreat is bringing in money. Ramp up the heat on this to help the family find truth and bring light to these dodgy yoga retreats who operate in foreign countries which is dangerous for unsuspecting participants. You have to be very careful of charlatans, crime, corruption and safety.

Very misleading. I get what they identify as but it is not a woman. That's probably why so many people are confused. They actually think a woman is missing , it does not make it right but if you put the story out maybe it would make more sense. It could be a hate crime so just tell the truth.. 😢

OKAY, so ummmmmm I am getting conflicted, but I gotta say it! I'm watching all these videos about Taylor. I hear her MotheR lightly using her daughter name Taylor like in the 3rd. person and then notice MoM standing with a lady and figure she could be in the Lgbtq community, okay NO problem, but then I start seeing that people are saying Taylor is a man who identifies as a WomaN?!?!?!?! Light comes ON in my mind?! Heck of a clue if that's true and why NOT put that out there, especially if it doesn't matter!!! Dual Citizen here! And if you are or have traveled throughout the Caribbean and Africa you would know how those countries feel about that specific community. Knowing the true GendeR could maybe shed more light/give clues to what could have happened! I want to go soooo much deeper and explain more, but people on here talking about it doesn't matter if its a mon or a woman, someone is missing? It may not matter in America (It DoeS), but in other Countries who don't play by the same rules It DoeS MatteR! It could be the difference in finding the person!

You sir/mam are a liar, and the truth is not in you. The retreat was not in new providence it was on paradise island. Secondly the Bahamas has always been one of the safest destinations in the world. The small amount of crime is nothing compared to first world countries with 100 times the resources. The yoga retreat is not a collaboration with the local authorities, it is a business that needs to be held accountable. Have some common sense, have some decency if you are able. You are clearly someone working for the cruise Companies to funnel tourists to your private islands. You actually make me sick if I can be honest about it. Really sick

I've been to the Bahamas/Nassau/Paradise Island 5 times since 2010. There was a tall ship named the Liberty Clipper that I sailed on to Eleuthera & the Exumas. It's not safe in many of those areas. One of our crew members was murdered while coming to the aid of 2 random women being mugged. They shot him in the neck and he bled out. 😢 I hope they get some answers soon what happened to her. ✅
