After an argument with her father, Ren (Outlander's Sophie Skelton) runs off to the forest where she finds herself in the middle of a dangerous situation. Ren: The Girl with the Mark is an independent fantasy action series directed by Kate Madison (Born of Hope). This is Episode 2 of 5.
Our series is the tale of a young woman who, after a strange encounter in the woods, is marked by an ancient spirit. Cast out from her small village, she is forced to leave behind the family she has spent her whole life protecting and journey across the land to find the real meaning behind the mark she bears.

Oh the cliffhanger!!!! I really enjoy what I've seen so far. The story moves along so well without rushing, the music is just fantastic, the scenery... It was hard to wait for episode 2, it will be just as hard to wait for episode 3 haha! Well done! Glad I backed you when you kickstarted this!

Story line developing wonderfully Crew and Cast! Sophie is divine! Intros are brilliant. Music fits and doesn't push too much LOVE IT LOVVVVEE REN

Another excellent episode. The confrontation between Ren's family is wonderfully filmed and acted. Lyanna is a fascinating character and an incredible actress I can't wait to find out more about her and who she is working for. Some very interesting lighting effects too.

I just love this concept. Each episode is short but packed to the brim. The story sweeps you along and before you know it, it's a cliffhanger. So refreshing and I can't wait to see more.

The visuals are so incredibly beautiful. And when combined with that soundtrack...WOW. Favourite moments: 1:45 - 1:50 , 5:18 - 5:24 and 6:32 - 6:46 ! What an incredible achievement; I get shivers every time.

The technical quality of Ren continues to boggle the mind. Too good for television, this is big studio caliber. I enjoyed Born of Hope multiple times, but Ren is an order of magnitude above. Congratulations to all. Born of Hope sits right next to my Lord of the Rings blu-rays, and Ren will sit proudly next to Born of Hope.

I love it!!!! Everything is sooo well done! I love all the characters (especially Ren), the music, scenery, photography, story-telling, everything! I was in jitters all day today waiting for 8pm :) Can't wait now for the next episode! (why I have to wait one full week??? Sigh...) Thank you so much for making this! Well this is nice & refreshing isn't it !! At the moment Im loving everything Ren :) And to think all I did was go to the Born of Hope fan movie, so that a friend could see it & you popped up on the KZfaq side links...I thought, lets give Ren a go.. So glad that I did :)

The fighting and effects are pretty good! Better than other things I've seen but if they want them to live up to the strong fantasy feel they're going for to give people that sense of awe than I do hope they still aim to get better and hopefully improve those two things. Also the sound is a bit too focused on their voices, I feel like the surroundings could be a bit more emphasized. Over all (even though this is only the second episode) I'm seriously impressed and will definitely be following this series. Oh, and I'm in love with the music, it's spot on!
